We have just completed the renovation and extension on an old house. The last job, after four and a half years or work, was to coat two elevations of the house, so that the old and new brickwork could be tied together. We didn't want the house to look like it had been extended. We also wanted the damage and imperfections in the old brickwork to be repaired and masked.
We were very impressed with Geoff and the types of products Apex Coating Services offer. Geoff was extremely efficient and knowledgeable regarding the various options available to coat our house. He arrived on time, had plenty of samples regarding texture and colour of coating products available. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us time to come to the right decision for our home. Our quote arrived in a timely fashion. We actually changed our mind on a couple of issues and Geoff requoted, so he was flexible regarding our needs. Furthermore, the quote was in line with what we had been expecting to pay. Some quotes from other companies were ridiculously high.
Once the work began, we were very impressed with the contractor Nigel too. He had a tremendous attention to detail, as he had to mask our windows, soffits, soldier bricks and window sills. Preparation was very important on this job and was completed to a very high standard. Work was slowed down by the weather, which was unavoidable. Nigel came on a Saturday to finish the job and make up for lost time. Nigel cleared away his tools and materials as much as possible every evening. He laid down sheets to protect the rest of the house and garden from dust and debris whilst work was in progress.
We are extremely pleased with the finished product. It is all we hoped it would be. At the end of a very long renovation period, our house looks complete. We would not hesitate to recommend Apex Coating Services Limited.

Nigel carried out the work and was a pleasure to have around. He was very friendly and approachable , very diligent in protecting the windows and doors and accommodating in removing any fixings off the wall and removing growth around the wall. He left the work area clean and tidy every evening and the place was spotless when he finished the works. We had a very good experience with Apex and have no issue recommending for future clients.

Apex were professional and reliable, making sure we were clear on the work to be done and how it would be done and always keeping us updated on timing for the work to done with follow up emails during and after the job, the on-site team were incredibly helpful, hardworking and professional in their work. I received a number of quotes for rendering and painting work at the end of last year including one from Apex. I chose to go with a one man band setup (won't mention his name) purely because he was significantly cheaper but 2 days into the work I had to kick the guy off because the repair work just wasn't being done to the standards I was expecting. I then went back to Apex with my tail between my legs but they were very understanding of the situation and agreed to re-do the work that was started. Although I have paid a much higher price with Apex I am really pleased with the work that has been completed. The team that carried out the work were friendly, knowledgeable and took pride in their work. I was quite concerned about the Coronavirus situation but the team went about their work in a very professional manner given the situation. I wish I had just gone with Apex's quote in the first place. Well done Geoff and the rest of the Apex team!!
