The Beauty Gurus - Mr Vik Vijh

I was introduced to Mr Vikram Vijh through Medbelle. Medbelle recommended I meet with Mr Vijh as I was looking at having Rhinoplasty.

I have been giving consideration to Rhinoplasty for a number of years, but just did not know hot o go about it. Over the Christmas break I spoke with over 30 Doctors in Turkey and shortlisted down to the final two that I was very keen on.

However, knowing the Medbelle team through my work relationships the team advised to go and see Mr Vijh.

I visited Mr Vijh at his office in Birmingham on 8th February, on meeting him it was clear he was experienced, caring and wanted to understand why I wanted to have Rhinoplasty doing. I taken my mother along to this who has been against me having this done.

Having met with Mr Vijh even her attitude changed, he really wanted me to hear the truth and the limitations of my nose. Having an Ethnic nose of thick skin that is quite big what he could do is limited and he was open about that. I was clear with Mr Vijh that I did not want a model nose but a nose that would fit my face nicely.

He explained to me what he would be able to do and if things go well what he may be able to do without any assurances. I totally trusted Mr Vijh and the thoughts of going to Turkey were stopped.

I found a surgeon I trusted and believed would to the best he could do for me. I was keen on getting a Chin Implant at the same time as my Rhinoplasty but Mr Vijh advised this is not something he does due to the risks which I appreciated.

I booked in through Medbelle to have my surgery yesterday, Friday 4th March. The hospital being Burcot Hall Hospital in Birmingham. A review of the hospital I will leave separately with my own thoughts. However, as a patient with an autoimmune condition and on pain medication I was concerned about the anaesthetic side of things I was contacted by Mr Vijh team prior and the anaesthetics met with me prior to the surgery just confirm the medication and comforting me that he would ensure based on my condition he would manage things himself. I really appreciated this and the trust and respect I had for Mr Vijh and his team went one step further.

I then had the surgery which I believe lasted about 90 Minutes. On returning to my room, I woke up and having watched all the YouTube videos of the aftereffects of anaesthetic I was a little scared. However, Chet who I believe was the anaesthetist did everything in his power to make me comfortable and I am so thankful to him and Mr Vijh for taking my MS Condition into consideration throughout the process.

I believe the surgery went as well as it could have and Mr Vijh is happy with the outcome. However, I will be able to see the result with the stiches and plaster comes off in 7 days time.

For me I cannot stress how pleased I am I did not go to Turkey to have this treatment carried out, I found a surgeon who I trusted and his team who went above and beyond to comfort me and ensure I was ok throughout the process.

Mr Vijh visited me at 8 PM to check on me and again this morning prior to the padding from my nose being removed.

The team at Beauty Gurus cares, they are not just a team of surgeons carrying out procedures. In Mr Vijh I found someone I trusted and anyone looking to have any form of surgery being comfortable with your surgeon is imperative and I found that which is why I believe I am confident the end result will be something I am happy with. I look forward to the plaster being removed and seeing the end result in 7 days time.

My review is based on my experience to date with the Beauty Gurus team and am very appreciate of the efforts of Mr Vijh and his team. Mr Vijh takes the time to understand things and explain things and that is what I found.

I came into this with my mother concerned, I went into this with my mother comfortable that Mr Vijh is the best surgeon for me.
I look forward to the follow ups going forward and the end result over the coming months. I highly recommend Mr Vijh and his team who are professionals and caring people.

Mr Vijh recently performed a tummy tuck and then I had liposuction and a breast lift has he had used some of the fat he had removed to reshape my breasts.
My story began when I lost just under 10 stone in weight and was left with a lot of excess skin. I went to Mr Vijh for a consultation and straight away he made me feel at ease and he was very easy to talk to. He explained what he could do and the risks and what was involved with the surgery.
I can honestly say the surgery changed my life. I have my figure back and feel confident in myself and my appearance and that's thanks to Mr Vijh and his amazing team. Yes it was a big commitment but it was worth every penny I would recommend Mr Vijh 100% what he did for me was amazing

Mr Vik Vijh at The Beauty Gurus is an absolutely outstanding surgeon! Ive now had two surgeries with Mr Vijh with one being quite complex and my results are phenomenal. He’s also a genuinely lovely person and very easy to speak too. The ladies in the office are very helpful too and get back to you straight away if you have any questions.
Overall my experience’s have been amazing and I can’t recommend Mr Vijh enough.

Mr Vijh has completed post cancer reconstruction to my neck and chest, following removal of the lymph nodes in my underarm & neck. The NHS weren’t interested and just fobbed me off.

Mr Vijh is second to none, quite rightly having an amazing reputation in the field of plastic surgery - lots of other plastic surgeons pointed at him to fix my problems (probably because of the complexity and his expertise in fixing things)

He listens carefully to your needs and has a razor like memory.

He’s engaging and very approachable.

He doesn’t fob you off, which makes such a refreshing change.

He fixes you and you’re left wondering why you didn’t do the work sooner.

He even lowered his usual fee to accommodate BUPA fixed prices, which was very kind.

The ladies in the office (Julie and Annette) are lovely and really helpful.

I can honestly say that the work he’s done is life changing, it’s considerably helped with my cancer recovery. I couldn’t recommend Mr Vijh more highly.

I had my surgery by Mr vijh last week. Agter meeting lots of surgeons who couldn't help or I didt feel at ease with, I was do relived when I met Mr vijh. The knowledge he had and reassurance to all my questions was brilliant. The care from the 1st consultation to the surgery and after was amazing. Such a lovely man who reassured me and explained everything so well, answered all my questions amd the results are amazing. I'd highly recommend Mr vijh to everyone . The beauty gurus team were also great, helping me and staying in contact every step of the way. I'm so pleased I chose to have my procedure done by Mr vijh

Well what can I say about the amazing Mr Vijh!
He is kind, caring, considerate and amazingly talented!
He changed my life for the better and has a genuinely caring nature as well as being a perfectionist!
His work is unbelievable and his knowledge is second to non!.
His prices are very reasonable (id happily of paid double to have Mr Vijh look after me!)
All his team are wonderful too especially him PA Julie.
Would recommend this clinic and Mr Vijh a thousand times over.

I had a consultation with Mr Vijh about quite a delicate and intimate procedure. There was no chaperone during the consultation, he informed me about using only one box standard technique and dismissed me from his office as soon as I tried to find out more about different ones.
Experienced surgeon would tailor procedure to individual patient needs, we are all different.
Reading other reviews I see the same pattern with responses to posts such as mine.. I was told, that Mr Vijh keeps fixing others mistakes... Yes there are some bad surgeons out there, but it doesn't mean you have to keep doing the same things to all patients even though they want different results! Paying so much money people want the results not a standrad fix!
Even though the consultation was free I am deeply disappointed I drove 40miles one way for this. I insisted before the visit to find out more before committing but I was told I need to come.
I consulted two further surgeons afterwards and they all were very different and confirmed technique Mr Vijh was trying to use was very inappropriate for my case.

Cannot recommend Mr Vijh enough . The whole experience from start to finish was fabulous. Julie and Annette are the first friendly faces to greet you . They are fabulous . Mr Vijh is very calming and instantly puts you at ease. Both myself and my daughter have had surgery with Mr Vijh and we have recommended him to so many others that have also been extremely happy with the service . I am grateful to live locally to the beauty gurus but they are worth travelling for .
