All 3 of my kids love it here. Been to several of the adventure playgrounds in Portsmouth, this always feels the most welcoming. It's staffed with city council employees who look out for the kids, create games for all to join I with and are there if as a parent you catch a kid swearing or being horrible to others to have a word in the child's ear to behave. There is also indoor activities like painting and crafts. They have a great Halloween party very year and other party events periodically with bbq and snacks available at a very cheap price. Only down side is lack of teas/coffees etc on an every day basis for adults. Could do a killing if they had facilities for this!

My girls were practically born here. I cannot rate this place highly enough. It's waaaay more than a childrens Adventure Playground. Friendly and fun atmosphere and lots of things, games and activities to do. The staff are AMAZING! They're more than mere staff. They genuinely care about children and families. Ive been there so long that they feel like friends. Ive even , in tough times, been supported by a member of staff a few times over the years now. So many different cultures come together here as well. Children ard also taught to respect each other and share. I could go on and on and on about this place. All i can say is this was like a ho e away from home when my girls were young. I'm gonna miss it now my youngest is starting secondary school. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wonderful place to take children, there is something for everyone there, the wooden structure is fantastic. I don't think I could ever get bored there. The staff are super friendly and kind.

Great place to allow your little bundle's of energy to release some. Totally fenced off with a pedestrian gate to the rear. My kid's love the place I'm sure yours will too. Not sure about onsite toilets but public toilet's available in the asda across Holbrook road via the pedestrian crossing.

My son loves it n he wants to keep going there even after school. It's brilliant n so much to do n even had a massive sand pit! Fantastic for all kids up to the age of 13 years.

I raised a concern about a boy booting a football across the adventure playground several times to a member of the staff and questioned whether it was appropriate. The staff at the Adventure Playground said quote "yeah kids can play football anywhere in the park". I expalined to the staff member that I had concerns as the child was booting the ball so hard and narrowly missing children playing in the sandpit and children going down the slide whether this was appropriate and questioned how is this appropriate if children including my own which are going down the slide as we speak were to get hit by the ball, considering the ball being hit with force it will do damage. The staff member replied quote "I will apply first aid then". So instead of preventing children being injured by telling the boy to play with the ball at the back of the park where intelligent children seem to play cause they understand that hurting unsuspecting children with a ball is not right the staff at the adventure playground allowed the boy to continue to boot the ball in the main play area and ignored my legitimate concerns of children could potentially be booted in the face resulting in bloody noses and concussed, and deemed it ok cause she could apply first aid. To which I said it would be best if I take my children out of this park then since I do not wish for my two to be hit in the face with a ball as they are playing freely unsuspecting to be hit by a ball and the staff members response was quote "yes".

Great place.
Supervised wooden play area with 3 levels.
Plenty of picnic tables. Inside area too. A bit rustic, can be wet under foot.
