Good place to bring kids around. There are two playgrounds for them to enjoy. Also every few mounts there is a fun fair which is not very popular with local residents but it is very entertaining for kids. It is good for dog walkers or just to sit and relax. There is no coffee shop in the park but there are many around. Unfortunately there are not public toiletss

Beware the untended weeds in the under 5 s play area. They are severely encroaching on the see saw there and are evident outside the fences throughout the children's spaces. Don't let your toddlers run as wild and free as they are. LBHF needs to pay more attention to the essential maintenance in our much valued green areas. I'm tempted to take a weed burner out there myself. Nevertheless the lovely sand diggers in the pit are wonderful for children to use. Parents or Carers can sit on them too to guide little hands. The tree seat is a pleasant addition for bags and belongings as long as you keep an eye on them. Gates stiff to get through. You may need assistance if you have a big buggy. Older play area good range of equipment with music chimes, mirrors, huge climbing spiders web, group spinning swing and lots of physical challenges. NB close to North travelling traffic so if your child has a respiratory condition wise to take this into consideration.

Located in very busy area. The park also usually is packed and there are people around basically all the time. However, it's good for a short walk, some rest, sunbathing and relaxing. Could have a bit more flowers or tree's and the benches are usually busy as well but not a big deal. The children's playground is fun where the kids can have some good time.

Not really a good place to sit if you want relaxation. Constant traffic and pollution. Also, a lot of homeless dodgy looking people. I would be extra careful walking through it at night.

The park is full of dodgy people (and their fighting dogs). They always gang up around the playground. Also witnessed parents with kids getting bullied by them.

Absolutely disgusting. There's no where to sit on the grass due to the rubbish, some of that dangerous.

There's a lot of anti social behaviour and substance abusers/alcohol consumption especially in the children's play area.

A triangular grassed area with modernised playground, scattered mature trees and noteworthy War Memorial.
Unfortunately the tone and tempo degraded here by
1) the toxic air miasma and background noise from surrounding high traffic volumes.
2) an unsettling undercurrent of disquiet that permeates this green, evidenced by the litter, trash and broken bottles that nincompoops have discarded here.
Unfortunately best avoided.
