Decent play ground, lots of grass and a cafe. Lots of other stuff scattered around, but I came to bring the kids to the playground

What an amazing slice of green tranquillity in the middle of the urban sprawl. From the tropical hot houses past the grand house with formal gardens onwards to the children's play area including refreshments and toilets not missing the 18 hole golf course intersected by woodland and the hidden train engine you reach the football pitch surrounded by wild flower meadows . I haven't mentioned the sunken garden ,miles of pathways and the ample parking but dont take my word just take yourself, the dog, the family or your thoughts and enjoy this green and clean park!!!

Safe, enclosed playground with range of play equipment for different ages. There is a nearby cafe and toilet. Nice areas to walk, gardens and an outdoor gym area.

A great park with a fantastic cafe serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. Small seating area where one can set and drink while watching the kids play. Wonderful range of children's swings, climbing frames and more.

Review for Woodthorpe Grange Park !!
We have enjoyed coming to this park for many years, it's so much better now, with the emphasis on helping nature, fruit trees, herbs, fungi, meadowland, timber, a natural stream flows down one side after the rain, its very pleasant, lots of wildlife too! A lot of seasonal activity, the circus is bright and jolly, the Christmas fair, open days and you can buy honey from the park's own bees! Even the graffiti - clever or funny - some of the trees have ancient graffiti from many many years ago! The park also has lots of sporting activity but the whole place is let down by poorly styled amenities. Badly designed toilets - rusty and leaky despite the regular attention of the park keepers, much better designs have been seen at other parks, also - the coffee shack could be a goldmine - always a queue and mostly closed.

Haven't been there for a few years and was pleased with what was there ,it was about 4 years since I ve been and was looking tired but pleasantly surprised, however the cafe was not open (apparently covid related) I think that is being used as an excuse.
