G&S Plumbing are an exceptionally fantastic company. I first used them when I could not find any other plumbing firm to install a jacuzzi bath for me and have used them ever since. In the plumbing business they are a rare gem-they turn up when they are supposed to, are always on time and their workmanship is second to none
They are conscientious,hardworking and trustworthy.
There is no plumbing job that they are not capable of doing and I cannot recommend them or praise them enough.
This is a great company with fantastic service and work ethics.

G&S I must say by far are one of the best plumbers out there after using a few different plumbers and getting let down and the job not getting done properly G&S stepped up and got the job done perfectly. They will not let you down in a emergency and the work done is up to a very high standard. They are very professional and trustworthy and can be left to get on with the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants any plumbing work done hassle free.

Called out Allah Ditta as another plumber had let me down and other tradesman were waiting for first fix of plumbing.

He arrived promptly with his son and initially quoted £400, claiming that it was a full days work for 2 people - he had apparently cancelled other work that afternoon and claimed he needed to charge a full days rate.

As an aside, £200 is at the top end for plumber day rates in the area.

It was already 10:30 and I was clearly not the first job of the day, I negotiated down to £300 - he refused to budge knowing I was in a bind.

The work was done by 13:30 - exactly three hours as I had predicted, not his 'full day for two people'. Whilst he was still on site I explained there was other work that could be done - I had been quoted 2 days of work, which was completed within 6 hours.

Allah Ditta then said that he had other jobs to go to and I wasn't paying for his time - but for the work itself. This is untrue and I repeated his words back to him, for which he had no response.

He refused to remain and pressurise the system or bleed radiators and I would describe him as belligerent bordering on hostile.

A rip off tradesman who should be avoided. He knows where I am if he has any integrity or decency.

No real solution to my problem that I called him out for. Made a real mess and didn’t clean it up. He charged me 40 pound for the pleasure of half hour work. (That’s if you can even call it work) felt like he couldn’t be bothered at all, look elsewhere.

Since my last review was deleted I’ve had 2 other companies out quoting for the work and they didn’t charge me.

Had bathroom sink flexipipe burst late evening which would have left no water or heating until possible fix the next day. Phoned Blackburn G&S Plumbing and Heating. After initial chat and sending photos of the problem, a plumber arrived within the hour and fixed the issue. Reasonable emergency call out and repair cost. Highly recommend. Big thanks
