Would love to know why an emergency - out of hours plumbing service has no contactable number … Surely this is important ? I received a text minutes before 6 saying to call the provided number with any queries … just so happens the lines close at that time so I can’t reach anyone. I booked my emergency repair at 8am and only now they have confirmed my booked repair. Ridiculous lack of communication.

Still waiting on company to turn up after a no show yesterday. A bit of communication to say they wouldn't be attending may of been helpful as my husband is on night shift and didn't sleep waiting for them to arrive. So another day sat waiting.

Don't count on these guys showing up on the allocated day. No call, no cancellation text. They come the next day and confirm exactly what British Gas diagnosed several days before but that they don't have the part so will have to come back. Even though British Gas took all the part details and sent it to them. They create extra work and extra appointments for themselves. They don't have the resources or manpower to deliver on British Gas' contract.

Valleyserve were British Gas nominated repairer for their insurance covered water leak. Despite being a vulnerable elderly couple the timescale for a “possible” repair was unacceptable. The switchboard do not answer calls and there is no email address or answering service. Clearly short staffed in the office and insufficient repair crews. Had to arrange an alternative repairer who did the job next day. If British Gas nominate these people I would refuse to accept.

British gas sent valleyserve to fix a broken hot water cylinder. The engineer caused a leak, which damaged the house. I was told they will send someone to fix the damage, 3 months later no one has turned up yet. Calls go unanswered or they promise that someone will contact but no one does. Best to avoid this company.

This company is the Dyno Plumb franchise for British Gas. Valleyserve Ltd cancel appointments (without telling their customers or British Gas) and they also don't answer their phone. Steer well clear - there are other reviews of similar complaints.

Not fit for purpose. 2 appointments booked and failed to attend on both counts. Diabolical..

First appointment, I was called at 5pm after being given a 13:00 -18:00 appointment saying they have to cancel. Took time off to wait for these clowns.

Next appointment booked for 30th December b/w 13:00 and 18:00 .Took time off again and these jokers did not have the gall to call to make up another excuse for not attending. Called many times but lo and behold, No one bothers to answer

Unprofessional and quite appalling business. Not fit for purpose.

Leak detection.
Booked by BG for central heating pipe leak. (No heating and no hot water at all)
Completely useless company. Never turned up, called 50 times with no answer and no response. Time frame 8 am - 6 pm- joke.
Will never recommend them to anyone.
