While having an integrated toilet cistern looks great, when we found water overflowing into the pan with no access to the isolation valve we had to turn off the water at the mains supply, which was hugely inconvenient.
Fortunately, we found Elgar Plumbing through Google Maps as a local plumbing service provider and we are very glad that we did. Dan came round to assess the problem and had to cut a hole into the wall to get access. His expertise meant that even though he couldn't see the issue he was able to clean the inlet valve to properly stop the water flow and the problem was swiftly resolved. He then returned the next day to fit a neat access panel which we will easily be able to paint or cover with a picture for that integrated look, but now with the possibility of future maintenance.
When you need a plumber, having someone reliable and available is invaluable so I am really pleased to have found Elgar Plumbing and won't hesitate to use them again whenever needed.

Dan & his team refurbished our downstairs cloakroom, with new wc, sink & vanity unit, complete tiling and flooring. Work done to a very high standard, and all rubbish & old fittings removed. A couple of issues with materials supplied to the team were resolved promptly, & we were very impressed by Stuart & Rob, for their workmanship & friendliness. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Eddie & Dan were friendly, very clean with their work, totally professional and helpful with taking me through the new boiler system. They were a pleasure to have in the house with me for the day, it felt like I had friends in the house with me who just happened to be fitting a new heating system whilst there. Eddie responded really quickly to my original email and the initial consultation was really helpful. Eddie had some great suggestions and was really approachable and friendly. Matt carried out the work and we couldn't speak highly enough of his professionalism and resilience! He had to deal with a number of challenges and did so with a huge amount of good will. He stayed late into the evening even though it personally inconvenienced him, and he didn't complain once. He made us feel that the customer absolutely came first. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Eddie and the team. Please be patient with them because they are so busy. They are definitely worth it!

Changed our mind about getting a boiler installed as we thought in the long run a heat pump would make more financial sense and obviously good for the environment. Luckily Ed and his team can install both, so we didn't need to change provider. They did an amazing job, everything is setup and working perfectly now! Thanks Guys

Elgar Heating & Plumbing have recently installed a new boiler and converted our old Combi system in to a pressurised system.
