Jamie Merchant, in our opinion, is a complete star. He has a delightful and very friendly personality, and is very much a person to be trusted. His advice to us in advance of the job was first class and wherever he could he sought to save us money on the items we had to purchase. Most importantly his work is of a very high standard and we are so pleased with our new shower and bathroom. He left the job having also cleaned up behind him, to the extent we would not have known he had been at our home, except for us now having a beautiful showering experience. We cannot recommend Jamie highly enough.

Jamie is a brilliant, very skilled and professional plumber.

I have used Jamie on a number of occasions, the work included fitting new radiators in 2 bedrooms and the dining room. A new butler sink and taps, dishwasher and gas hob in the kitchen.

The main piece of work that Jamie has done for for me is installing the complete bathroom suite which included, shower, shower tray and screen, toilet, sink, bath and all of the tiling work.

Jamie is always on time, hard working and all of his work is finished to a very high standard. I would recommend Jamie to anyone who needed plumbing and heating work done.

Jamie refurbished our bathroom a couple of weeks ago. He was the only contractor who understood the brief and gave a competitive quote. He was unfazed when removing our bath revealed a slow leak requiring more work, and his expertise was invaluable on this. He still bought the job in on time and below budget. Having a contractor in my home doing fairly invasive work for a week is my worse nightmare, but Jamie made it bearable, even pleasant! Could not recommend more highly.

We have used Jamie Merchant on a number of occasions for various work including the installation of a replacement waste disposal, total refurbishment of a cloakroom and also an ensuite shower room including new sheeting for the walls along with replacement coving. He repaired our old boiler and has subsequently carried out annual servicing and also replaced the thermostat connected to the boiler. He also installed an air vent in the dining room to meet current regulations around our gas fire. On all occasions his attention to detail, workmanship and clean and tidy working have been exceptional. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Jamie has carried out several jobs for us over the past couple of years, including a new boiler installation & a completely new bathroom suite. He is very much our ‘go to man’ for any plumbing / heating job. His knowledge & experience is second to none and everything he does is to the very highest standard. He clearly takes a great deal of pride in his work & always leaves the house so clean & tidy, that you’d barely known he’d been there. We are thrilled with our bathroom & everyone who has seen it has been hugely impressed. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Jamie for any job.

I used this service for a full bathroom renovation. This included a brand new electric hot water system (no gas in property) which has dramatically reduced bills. Old tired bathroom completely removed and had installed new bath, toilet, sink and was re-tiled from floor to ceiling Worker was professional, always arrived on time and was diligent in clearing up after himself.
