Contacted Gary today after our Worcester Combi Boiler boiler decided to stop working and wouldn't reset despite all the usual troubleshooting. Temperatures outside were -2 today and we had no heating or hot water.
Despite being super busy, Gary came out and got to the root of the problem pretty quickly. He and his team were prompt, efficient, honest and straight to the point and above all didn't charge me ridiculous rates. Great job and will be my first choice plumber from now on.

Having recently written a 5Star Review I didn’t think I would be writing another so quickly! My 44 year old boiler failed just before Christmas.. My children, son in law and young grandchildren were all due to spend the holiday with me – but couldn’t if I had no heating. The house was so cold. Gary and Jason rearranged their work schedule to get and fit a new boiler and Jason worked on his Saturday off to help make this possible. Watching them work made me realise just what specialists they both are in their field. How fortunate I have been to find a company so professional, so experienced, so helpful and so reliable. I’ve taken out an extended warranty with “Glow-Worm” because I am reassured that GA and Gary will do the annual servicing required. They saved my Christmas – if I could give more than a 5 star rating I definitely would. No one with a plumbing or heating problem could find anyone better than GA Plumbing and Heating!

We needed a new sink and tap, Gary and his assistant came and fitted what I thought was the wrong tap. Gary said no problem and came back to change it quickly and did for free. They also sorted the plumbing underneath which was a mess, and worked hard to make the sink fit properly (the old one was clipped in). Absolutely solid service, I'd be very happy to call them again.

I was let down by a few plumbers. I contacted Gary who came out as promised. Lovely friendly guy. Was quick efficient and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

I had a quote to replace a broken boiler. I paid upfront for the Glow worm boiler that they recommended to be ordered and fitted. I was told the boiler would be smaller than the current one and I'd have a gap around it. I agreed. Two men spent the day fitting the boiler they recommended I pay extra to buy insurance from them and a magnetic filter I agreed. At the end of the day they told me the pipes under the boiler would not fit. I had a custom made box under the previous boiler with tiles that match the kitchen. The box also had an access door. I asked what could be done as they had already spent the whole day fitting it They said they would have to break the tiles / box leaving the pipes exposed. They suggested I ask my husband to make a box. I said I didn't have a husband to do that. They made a very poor quality box with no access to the pipes out of some wood they had. It looks bad. They said to ask my husband to paint it. Its much bigger so takes up extra valuable space on the work top. The previous boiler was plugged in under the counter. After they left I realized they used a plug on the wall instead so I have to use an extension lead on the counter as the lead from the boiler it to short. They fitted a new thermostat on the wall in the dinning room and left a hole in the wall beside it. When I called them they said can't you just ask your husband to put some filler in it. I later learned the insurance they sold me is invalid unless they are paid to service the boiler every year. When I called to say I didn't get any documents for the insurance they said Glow worm would send them. When the thermostat stopped working this winter I called them and they asked me to call the manufacturer. I haven't called them back. The extra insurance I paid for is worthless. This was a couple of years ago now. I posted the review today because I feel sad every time I look at the ugly wood box that I will have to live with for years to come.

We needed to replace a kitchen tap. Gary gave us an appointment very quickly, came on time and charged what he'd quoted. The cost was very reasonable. He came back promptly to deal with a minor leak. I would definitely use him again and recommend him highly.

Gary came out very quickly as we had an issue with our heating system.

We urgently needed an old immersion heater and tank replaced. Gary was incredibly helpful, professional, thoughtful and good value. The work was carried out to a very high standard. He made a real effort to get to us as quickly as possible. Very happy.
