From our emergency call to this business due to blocked loo through to the completion of the works after additional problems found we had great service from the team at Down the Drain Plumbers. Punctual, efficient and with a transparent pricing policy, we felt in good hands throughout. The onsite team is super friendly and made a real effort to leave the areas they worked in clean and tidy at the end of every day.

Very happy and have already recommended to friends. We hope to have the team back to fit a garden tap in the not too distant future.

Dave arrived on time to come up with the quote, which was good value. The work was carried out well and Dave was fantastic if we had an questions about the work. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for plumbing work.

Highly recommend Dave & Down The Drain. Dave came to do a mixture of jobs around our flat (fix a water hammer, change our shower/bath taps, fix a tap that wasn’t working / remove a strange under floor heater in the kitchen / remove and cap off a radiator). On first visit to give us a quote Dave was very transparent about how long it would take him and suggested we agreed on a day rate rather than an hourly cost as this would keep the price down for us. We really appreciated this.

On the day he was prompt and continued to keep us updated on the works. The taps we had purchased ourselves weren’t the right size so he recommended we went to a local place to get some different ones. We felt that he approached the job here as he would do in his own home.

He’s a very honest, fair and skilled tradesman and we are very pleased to have found a local plumber we can rely on.

Dave did an amazing job in less time that he originally quoted for. It was a big job that most other plumbers said they couldn't do. Dave carried out the work professionally and made me aware of what was going on. Overall really happy with the quality of the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

This is the second time we’ve used Down the Drain. This time for a clogged external drain. Dave managed to come same day & cleared the issue in less than half an hour. He gave some practical preventative advice too. Always friendly, helpful & reliable plus great value for money.

I would highly recommend down the drain. I had an issue with a blocked drain and Dave and Dave provided a great service. They were transparent about costs and the work that needed to be done upfront, explaining the issue clearly and kept me updated as they worked. They were able to come out on a Saturday at short notice and worked efficiently and taking care of my property. They are both professional and friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Down the Drain were fantastic when we had a serious leak from our shower into the floor below. Dave immediately understood the emergency of the situation and was incredibly efficient, prompt, and reassuring. Down the Drain came recommended to us on the local WhatsApp group, and many of our neighbours have had similar great experiences. Couldn’t recommend more.

Dave and Andy were very responsive with communication and worked efficiently every time I saw them. Dave was clear what the next steps were and made sure I understood any ramifications.

All in all I was very pleased with these two cheery guys who seemed to have a hard job but were often smiling.

The quote was reasonable considering the work and Dave did try to work ahead of schedule to make for a less expensive solution but we decided to fix the waste pipe securely for the foreseeable future and do it properly. The quote was the final amount and do expect to pay on card at the end of the day (no 30 day invoice).
