George Plumbing

I called George for what seemed like a simple backed up toilet and he arrived within an hour on a bank holiday weekend. When it turned out to be a majorly blocked up pipe he went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't stuck with a huge mess.

He provided a professional and friendly service, explaining everything he was doing and showing me what caused the problem. He cleared out the blockage, helped me dispose of the waste and told me exactly what to say to my landlord about future repairs and the state of my pipes.

Couldn't recommend George more. 10/10, 5 stars, full works. he'll be the first person I call next time something goes wrong.

George came and gave us a very fair quote same day for access to new pipes in new room for kitchen. He was able to come and do the job the following week, he is lovely, fast and a very good plumber would highly recommend!

Never again George Plumbing!
I called George Plumbing to fix a blocked toilet. He came and tried to fix the problem but he was not able because he reconed it was a collapsed drain. My tenant said he was there for half an hour, but charged for 1.5 hours. Including travel time it should not be more than an hour max for nothing. In a text message he told me "All done" but it was not my tenant told me a bit later and in his invoice he stated a possible broken floatline. The invoice I paid straight away. So a second visit was arranged for which he quoted £475. He lifted up about 10 cobbled stones and said he replaced a piece of pipe and said he fixed the problem. My tenant told me again about an hour after he left that the problem still existed. So I told the plumber that I hold back the payment because I want a second optinion about the repair if it was done properly.

I immediately received a reduced invoice to £300 (with no explanation) and after just 5 days of the reduced invoice I get a message from him threatening with bailiffs.
He also called my tenant a liar, which is very unprofessional.

I asked British Gas to have a look and they fixed it with just removing a blockage of toilet paper, done in an hour.

I received a bailiff letter so I paid £150 to try to arrange an agreement with George the plumber but he did not accept it and accused me of slavery because I do not want to pay.

So if you ask George Plumbing for help, be aware that you maybe pay an excesive price for not fixed problems and with no garantie and you do not get the time to verify by the unqualified work by an indipendent plumber and that the bailiffs are being instructed by George Plumbing immediately.

So be warned!

George is friendly, professional and fast. He sorted my problem quickly and gave me advice on how to prevent it happening again. Would highly recommend.

We rang George up late on Friday night and he offered to come straight away but we asked him to come the next morning instead. Bang on time, he diagnosed the problem within ten minutes, went off and got the part and then came back to fix the issue. We now have a toilet that doesn’t flood the bathroom every time we flush it. Reasonable price and a true professional gent. Would definitely recommend him

George was super lovely and helpful when are boiler broke down (whilst it was minus degrees outside). Very efficient and good communication! Would recommend him to friends.

George is great! Turned up within 20 mins, was really friendly and got us our heating back on! Highly recommend!
