R&S Plumbing & Heating Ltd

We have been using R&S plumbing for years and always found them to be excellent! They recently attended and fitted a magnetic filter onto our central heating system, the engineer arrived on time and was very professional, friendly and carried out the job in a timely manner. I would defiantly recommend this company!

I can highly recommend the workmanship of R&S Plumbing. Honest, reliable and tidy. What more does anyone need from a plumber? Oh knowledge, in abundance. What Steve doesn’t know, isn’t worth knowing. A company with a moral compass is a rare find these days, and no job is too small, from flicking a switch on my boiler (!) to installing a bathroom. Thank you.

I had a leak from my washing machine standpipe. I called R&S and left a message and had a quick call back. Luckily a plumber could be sent to me next day and Charlie arrived on time, masked up and ready to help. He was very thorough, clean and tidy and a lovely guy. He ascertained what the issue was, said I didn't need a replacement but could carry out a repair which he did. Would definitely recommend and am so pleased to have found a decent plumbers that I can use in the future.

Boiler packed it in, had no heating or hot water at all. It was a 12year old boiler and I had two previous plumbers both say I needed a new boiler which would have cost me an absolute fortune. Thankfully I called up R&S, Steve came round later that evening and was quickly able to identify a couple of things that may require changing. James then came round once the parts where ordered and tried his best to get everything working. Another 3 parts where needed. I wasted no time in asking them to order them and try to fix it. It took a while, but due to the boiler having so many things wrong with it, I was amazed they finally got it to work after a month of having no heating or hot water. They saved me well over 2 grand by managing to fix it. I will definitely be using R&S plumbing in the future as my plumbing experts.

After a week away, I arrived at my home to find that my boiler was not working = no hot water and no heating. It's a new home in a new town so I needed recommendations. Three were given but Steve's response was the quickest and he was the only one who tried to help via phone. When that was not enough he came within a few hours. He found he needed to order a piece and so came back on time the next morning and fixed it! He was incredibly professional, polite, helpful and efficient. So happy I found R&S Plumbing and Heating!

Booked a boiler service, the engineer arrived at the agreed time, completed the job quickly and left the place looking just the way he found it. Also had a problem with a valve, the engineer diagnosed the problem and left it to me to decide if remedial action was taken, which I will using R&S. Recommended!

We needed a new gas boiler installed in a hurry before my son came back to his flat to convalesce after several weeks in hospital. R & S were a joy to deal with and all was done on time with excellent communication by phone and email . All was left clean and tidy; he had a reliable source of hot water when he returned home.

Having previously rented a property where R&S were the preferred contractor for heating and plumbing, I had no reservations about calling them when we finally bought our own place and needed taps fitted and a full gas safety check done.

From booking, to getting a quote and an appointment, the back office team are fantastic. We didn't wait more than 48 hours for an appointment, the pricing was clear and the work was carried out to an excellent standard.

The staff who visited us (James for gas check and Ryan for the plumbing) were friendly, professional, on-time and competent. They explained what they were doing, provided advice on ongoing care and things to watch for in terms of maintenance.

R&S will be on my speed dial for all things plumbing, heating and (if needed) electrical. When it comes time for us to design a new kitchen, we'll be calling on them to help too! It's great to find people you can trust to deliver.
