Good service overall - used them to install new boiler and remove old system.

The workers were professional and friendly. Slightly on the pricier end of quotes, but still within reason and felt good about how they presented themselves - basically other people might have been cheaper but didn't seem as trustworthy as this company; and when dealing with gas and several thousand pounds I needed something above board, and I always use local businesses when I can.

Work was done with no issues. Will say that there could be a bit more improvement with communication - despite my deposit, I was double booked but wasn't told until the day of which was a little annoying, hence 4 stars.

Overall though would use again 👍

Shower Room

Had bath/tiles removed and replaced with a modern stand-alone shower. Have been very impressed with Peter Brown throughout the planning and installation phases of this project. Excellent communication and top-quality work at an acceptable price. Highly recommended.

We had a service carried out on our boiler which found a leak and we’re advised to have a gas engineer investigate where in the flue the leak was coming from. My husband spoke to Peter today and he advised us to contact the original boiler installer to rectify the problem (as it’s their responsibility to install correctly) which we did and it’s being resolved. Peter was most honest and helpful. We will be recommending to anyone.

I used Peter Brown to supply and install my new boiler nearly 7 years ago. I needed new gas piping for the boiler and they took pains to run the new pipe work behind the kitchen units and under the floor so that it would not show. (This sounds obvious but another well known company in the area wanted to drill holes in the wall and run gas pipes on the outside of the house as it was easier for them! ) The installers were very hard working, polite and professional and cleaned up at the end of the day.
Since then I have used them for boiler service, to take out an old gas fire and fix radiator problems. They are always very helpful.
Recently my hot water started taking ages to come through then going cold and the water pressure guage on the boiler still showed zero even after putting water in. I called Peter Brown for advice and explained what I had done to try and fix the problem. Even though they were very busy, Alan managed to come over on the same day to confirm the fault was actually with the boiler itself rather than anything else. This meant I could get onto manufacturer straight away with no delay.
Would definitely recommend.

Truly professional and skilled boiler and general system engineers. Polite, informative and extremely hard-working. Excellent at problem-solving when any issues arose, such as when the new boiler was connected to the existing electrical system. Highly recommended.

Angela in the office is friendly and helpful. Alan the engineer arrived on time and was very professional in his manners. Didn't waste time, polite, helpful (I had some questions which he answered clearly and simply), he left everything clean and was a pleasure to deal with. Peter Brown carried out a total refurbishment of a 30-year old bathroom, including new suite and shower installation, new water cylinder, and complete wall and floor tiling. Peter's advice on the project was excellent, the work was carried out exactly on schedule and to a very high standard, and I am delighted with the results. I have no hesitation in recommending the company's services.
