I had just moved into a new flat and suddenly the hot water stopped working. We checked the boiler and realised the pressure was low, but couldn't work out how to fix it because the boiler was quite old.

I called Dustin, who came out straight away. He fixed it within a couple of minutes and showed me how to do it. Given the emergency call out fee was quite a lot of money (not more than any other companies but just a lot for a couple of minutes work), Dustin was really kind and offered to check other things like the taps etc.

Last weekend, at 6.30pm on a Saturday, the water went again and I had forgotten how to fix it. I called Dustin who video called me back to try and help, but the valve on the boiler was pretty worn down and I couldn't fix it. Dustin very kindly drove over half an hour later to fix it, free of charge because he remembered that last time he was there for a very short amount of time for the full fee.

Dustin is very knowledgeable and gave advice as to a few different options I could take to fix the issue in due course if it kept occurring.

Genuinely the best experience I've had in terms of getting things fixed in the flat.

So glad i did, Dustin from start to finish, from the first phone call to completion of the job was professional and very transparent in the cost of parts and labour which i was more then happy with. Chuffed I have finally found a trustworthy tradesman for my heating and plumbing needs going forward.

I have no hesitation in recommending Dustin to anyone looking for maintenance of their heating system. I had been left for days without hot water or heating by another company after issues following a boiler service and as soon as Dustin heard of the situation he was on his way to sort the problem despite me not being particularly local to him. He has been a pleasure to deal with, making a point of discussing various options he could try to keep my current boiler working rather than replacing it unless 100% necessary. He has gone above and beyond to collect parts, return parts that weren’t needed and just be generally helpful as well as friendly and cheerful at all times! I am very happy that I have found a company that are so reliable and easy to deal with and am sure that I will be using them whenever there is a need to in the future.

I can’t rate Dustin from Flotec enough! His response rate was super fast. He gave me the time to discuss my boiler issues over the phone so I had an idea of what the problem and cost/s might be before booking a call out (compared to other engineers that said I had to book a call out before they would discuss the problems with me) Dustin is very honest. He won’t overcharge you or do unnecessary work for more money (I had other engineers try and talk me into buying a new boiler) The issue with my boiler was luckily very easy to fix so he only charged me his call-out fee which was very reasonable. Dustin also squeezed me in on a Saturday morning as I work long days during the week which I was very grateful for. I was so happy with his service that Il be using Dustin again for any other boiler/plumbing issues and highly recommending him to anyone who needs similar help!

Our 8yo boiler (!) required urgent work (in retrospect, poor advice and workmanship from a previous firm). Dustin responded very quickly, located the parts and had the boiler working perfectly, possibly for the first time in its life. I am very happy to give Flotec the highest recommendation.

This was a really really good experience.Had emergency leak - with drain from my sink collapsing. They told me what I needed - came with the part - fitted it. Really reasonable call out price. Really efficient and careful and considerate. I will use them again 100%. Really nice guy.

Quality workmanship, efficient, neat, and all the things you want when hiring a plumber. Dustin and his team were worth the wait.
They completed our dishwasher install, install of new radiators, and an outside tap. I would not hesitate to recommend Flotec.
