We needed to remove a radiator from the wall to have damp course work. RBC drained the system, removed the rad and then refilled the system, but neglected to tighten the valves. Three weeks of seepage later we had water damage on the ceilings on two floors. RBC admitted liability and to pay for repainting. Once damp course dried we needed rad reattached and over the next 3-4 weeks, with at least 50 texts, calls (home and mobile) and emails and two missed appointments we found another plumber to complete the job. My conclusion is non-existent customer care, total unreliability and, most importantly, shabby work. Caveat emptor - find another plumber…

A difficult job as the bathroom had water damage due to many years of having a leaking shower.. I hired Robert after he visited the property and gave an estimate the following day.. The whole of the bathroom had to be ripped out and the floor taken up ( tiles and plywood) back to the joists.. It was found to be severely wet, joists and wall around where the shower had been.. Robert informed me that it would have to dry before any work could take place and was left with dehumidifier running for just over a week.. Work was done in good time and of the Highest quality.. I was really pleased with the company's honesty and integrity to do everything necessary to do the job right.. I was kept informed constantly and Robert always answered his phone.. I found the whole team very pleasant and respectful throughout the whole project.. I would strongly recommend RCB Plumbing.. This job was not straight forward or easy but was handled very professionally with emphasis on a good job and not just earning quick money..

Rob has installed our new bathroom to the highest standard. We were worried about using someone 'off a website' but we shouldn't have been. Fast, efficient and he takes care of the smallest details. Recommends clever changes and ensures that the finished product is exceptionally done. Highly recommended, great work at a very competitive price.

Rob and his team have carried out 2 jobs in my flat over the past 4 years and I have been incredibly pleased on both occasions.
The second piece of work was to replace all of my ancient radiators which was done quickly and incredibly efficiently. The team kept me up to date of the progress of the work throughout the day, were incredibly accommodating to my needs and left my home immaculate after such a large job.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RBC Plumbing & Heating to anyone - the care and consideration was outstanding as was the level of work.

Used Rob for a number of jobs over the past 5yrs. He installed our new boiler, all our cast iron Victorian radiators, replaced our gas meter that was damaged by a builder and carries out our annual boiler service. Having reliable, good quality tradesman hard to come by these days and Rob is our go-to guy for all our plumbing and gas-related work.

Rob, the heating engineer, did a quite complicated installation of a new boiler and radiators in our house that required drilling through the wall, fitting new pipes,
I was very impressed with the job, he left it very tidy and did the job to a very high standard.

Rob was extremely friendly, and professional. I would definitely want him to do future jobs in my house.

I used RBC Plumbing and Heating earlier in 2019 to connect up a new washing which they did and everything worked well. However, in August 2019 I arranged an appointment to repair a faulty valve in a cold water tank and they failed to turn up at the pre-arranged appointment; RBC arranged the date and time. Consequently, upon telephoning why they had failed to turn up at the appointment they suggested, the plumber stated he had forgotten about the appointment. Therefore, we both agreed the plumber would re-arrange the appointment 2 days later and he would call me at 4.00 pm that day to confirm he would turn up for the appointment. The plumber failed to phone me at 4.00 pm on Thursday (08/08/2019) and failed to turn up at the appointment at 6.30 pm. I am very disappointed about failure to turn up for appointments that RBC Plumbers suggested and that I was proposing to discuss about more plumbing work in a house I am having refurbished. Looks like I need to start the whole process again now with another contractor.

The worst company I ever had the displeasure dealing with.
Called out for a leaky boiler and a boiler service.
After having a look at the boiler he said the leaking problem will be fixed by changing a part.
Arrived with the new part, put it in, did a boiler service and the boiler is still leaking.
Billed me £226 and said he's ordering the other part and will come back to finish the work.
Didn't hear from him for a few days.
Called him, no answer. Texted him, no answer.
After two weeks I called form a different mobile number and he picked up straight away.
"Oh yes I remember you. I've been away for a week as well so couldn't call you.
I will order the part and get back to you."
Never heard from him again.
It was quite clear to us after this that he doesn't have the necessary skills and training to actually fix more complex issues.
You can probably book him for a plain boiler service but any bigger issue I would urge you to look for another company.
To just leave and not call or come back to fix an issue is beyond me.
If he was trained properly or had the skills required he would have finished his job.
But clearly he is not capable of complex jobs so just leaves customers to find other more skilled companies to finish his mess.
Reported the company to trading standards as well.
I can only give people one piece of advise and that is look for another company.
