New boiler replacement last week, really happy with the service and expertise. Darren and Mark were very friendly and know there stuff, the plumbing in our house was complicated, but they new what needed to be done to solve the problem. Great pressure in the shower and bathroom, very impressed with the new Baxi Combination boiler. These gents go the extra mile a rear thing in this day and age, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND local Plumbers. We should all be supporting family run local businesses..

Don't use, they changed a central heating pump that did not need changing taking advantage of my 82 year old mother and disabled brother which has not fixed the system, and are now looking to charge further to change other parts to fix it.
They charged £210 for a pump which you can get for half the price, £160 labour plus vat, total of £444, and not fixed what they were called out got.
Not recommended, do not use.

10 out of 10 service!! Quality of work is phenomenal!! Darren the MD was extremely helpful with providing quotations and advising what was best for my property and money. His staff were also very polite, cleaned up after themselves and were on time every time!! They were also courteous to my neighbours which always helps during building work :-). I cannot recommend Local Plumbers of Ickenham enough. Outstanding finishing to their work and even went beyond there normal call of duty when I asked for a few extras like siliconing around my kitchen.

100% will use again and have recommended to many.

Myself and my partner used Local plumbers when we purchased our first house, to install a new baxi boiler system & relocating to a downstairs cupboard. We were so pleased with the work and the completion was done really quickly and thorough. Local plumbers were really friendly and answered any concerns we had. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Great service from Darren and the team when they fitted a new hot water tank for us and also removed an old back boiler. Quick in getting a quote and the work being done, would definitely recommend.

Ask £105+VAT for a Gas Certificate. If it fails you have to pay again. It is called Local but it is not. My gas Certificate never failed before. They ask for the money upfront and they can do anything they want. Will never use them again.

Local Plumbers came out to me yesterday, charged me £540 + £160 for a new part. Down £700 and my boiler still doesn’t work. (The part I went to buy myself, have a brand new fan in a broken boiler if anyone wants one)

The guy that came out was lovely but it’s shocking that they’d still charge us £540 for 4 hours 15 minutes labour and the issue isn’t solved. Have spoken to multiple of my tradesmen friends since yesterday and they said that’s a liberty, they’d never charge that much money for a job they couldn’t complete.

Still have no hot water, a freezing house that we can’t stay in and have just had to buy a new boiler as they couldn’t figure out what the issue was.

For that kind of money I’d expect the problem to be fixed or at least the decency of them to only charge us for the actual labour that took place (replacing a fan) and to have there own tools.

First time buyers out £700 and can’t stay in our house as it’s freezing. They also charged us £90+VAT for the 15 mins over 4 hours.

Shocked.

Their work was competitively priced and the engineer was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
