Plumbox have just done another brilliant job for us! They put in two new radiators, replaced the valves on two others, replaced the toilet pan and replaced the extractor fan in the shower. They do great work and are a delight to have in the house. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I had an issue with my boiler (not an emergency, minor leakage). I have contacted Michael who was able to come the following week and fixed the problem during his visit. He has professional and efficient in addressing the issue. As landlord, I appreciated that he liaised with my tenant to let them know when he was planning to come. Michael maintained a clear communication with me, from beginning to end I am very satisfied with Michael, I highly recommend!

We used Plumbox to change our conventional boiler to a combination one and all new radiators.
Michael was very helpful, from the survey to the installation they have been very professional, fast and clean.
We would definitely recommend that and hopefully used them for future projects in the house.

I contacted Michael at Plumbox to undertake some work in my kitchen refurbishment, which included connecting a new sink and gas hob. Whilst here, they also took a look at a slow-draining sink. They completed the work to an excellent and very thoughtful/considerate standard, which can be rare. Some tradespeople want to get in and out as quick as possible. However, the Plumbox team wanted to make sure they did the job both correctly and neatly. Brandon carried out the bulk of the work, and he was polite, courteous and knowledgeable. I have no hesitations in recommending them, and they will be my first point of contact should I need any further plumbing or gas work done in the future.

Can't recommend Plumbox highly enough. Our boiler died just as the weather turned absolutely baltic, and we needed a new one installed ASAP. Plumbox were prompt to come and do a quote, thoroughly considering what needed to be done and what the best option for us would be (bearing in mind our slightly odd house!) - rather than just looking at a straight swap of like for like. That "thinking outside the box" has provided us with a much more convenient and aesthetically better long-term solution.

They were able to start very soon, and turned up each day promptly and worked quickly and efficiently, with careful attention to detail. Throughout their work they were extremely neat and tidy and considerate of our needs, making sure we had water and gas each evening. In fact the house was actually cleaner after they'd left than before they'd started!! The pipe work is very neat, looks very professional, and is all tucked neatly out of the way so that it isn't visible - again this required a few innovative solutions that I don't think many people would have thought of. Any issues they had (again, rather odd house!) they talked us through the options for solving them to make sure that we were kept informed and could make decisions that were best for us.

Overall, we were extremely impressed with Plumbox throughout the whole process and felt they delivered exceptional service. We won't hesitate to use them again for any future plumbing or heating issues, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing or heating engineers.

It was while I was refurbishing a 3 bedroom cottage in Coton Cambridge when I contracted Plumbox's services to carry out the installation of all the new piping, heating and bathrooms. They quoted the whole thing however, for some unknown reason to this date, forgot to do one of the bathrooms and not properly finish some details in the other two and yet decided to invoice me for the full amount quoted. Not only did they not carry out the installation in one of the bathrooms they did not believe that the fact that one of the toilets wasn't working, or that the hot water in one of the showers wasn't working, or that they had not properly hung a column radiator were a justification to either come and finish the job or amend the invoice. So, after not wanting to come and finish the job nor discuss an amendment to the final invoice they decided to put this in hands of a debt collection company who called me. I explained my case and explained that if they came and finished the job I would pay the outstanding 10% balance, to which they didn't agree. They might have done some outstanding jobs in the past but my experience was terrible, they are the only trader I had an issue with throughout the whole refurbishment of the cottage.

Such a brilliant, trustworthy team. Friendly guys who explained everything without jargon so I knew what was going to be done. They fit us in when our boiler broke an hour into moving into our new house. They were efficient, neat and tidy. They did a brilliant job on the bits that others can be slapdash on (bricking up the wall and filling in holes) and worked really hard on it all. Such a positive experience and will 100% be using them again when needed.
