Great company! I woke up one morning to find my boiler had completely packed up.. a lovely gent names Jack came and gave me a quote the same day then the new boiler was up and running within two days. I spoke to a lady in the office who was so helpful and assured me things would be sorted. I would recommend them to everyone!!!!!

had my bathroom a little over six months now. it looks like i've had it six years.

toilet has bad condensation issues, i never had this with previous toilets.

toilet is too thin and little, it is uncomfortable to use and the seat slides around and feels cheap. the flusher device feels flimsy, flush cycle is poor and requires multiple flushes to correctly flush all waste. always needs toilet brush.

Shower tray had multiple leak issues after fitting. you bunged up with silicon to seal it. i'm worried what will happen in years to come.
the base still has an issue as the door mechanism is now not sliding smoothly and the bottom brackets are "at slanting angles" looking like the whole base is not square or level?

the shower taps are difficult to use, Also the on/off tap is loose fitting and seems "worn" already.

the plastic cover over the shower plug is always needing adjusting and is too easily knocked at an angle.

someone said when i had this done it was going to be project managed, but within a short time you took a man off the job and left it too one man to do.

so i'm not a happy customer unfortunately. i'm worried that the whole thing will probably need re-doing in too short a time, instead of lasting many years.

After being let down by a heating engineer who could not fix my boiler after 2 attempts, Called Neil Shacklock's who sent out an engineer diagnosed the fan, picked it up in day and fixed the boiler.
Can't ask for anymore, and will recommend to anyone.

As an electrician I have recently attended a shacklocks rewire after the new owner being concerned about the safety of the electrical installation, did an EICR and found multiple faults including a C1 fault which meant the installation was immediately dangerous. It appears that no testing was done by shacklocks due to the lack of acceptable test results on 2 circuits which as a result had to be rewired due to the nature of the faults. It seems shacklocks doesn't employ neither competent electricians nor competent qualified supervisors. A shame they are registered with the NIC as an approved contractor as they pull down the standards of our trade and give electrical firms a bad rep. Avoid unless you want an electric shock or house fire one day.

COMPLETE WASTE... do not use this company............... lost my £126.00 for nothing. Call for servicing of heating and boiler.... Service engineer could not figure out there was fault in my hot water circuit( hot water was not coming from taps and shower). I had to tell him about the fault ( I deliberately did not tell him before his checks about the fault to let him figure out himself)... Now in site visit report they could not even tell me which part is faulty so that i can repair it. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!.. I told their guy on phone that i will leave this review in google

Tap leaked and remained unusable for 2 months. This is following a repair this company had carried out 2 months prior. I was told it needed a new seal but a month later the plumber suggested it was a different fault. This issue was only resolved by a different company coming and simply cleaning a seal and tightening it.

It has been 5 star for the last 5 years. But had to downgrade it now because they no longer do servicing of boilers. Would have left it at 5 stars but customer service was rude when telling me they don't do servicing anymore despite the option being on their phone menu as option 2!

Terrible company, waste of time, very rude. Their plumber came to fix my sink and left me with a leak. This was under warranty as I bought the house from Barratt and they are Barratt's contractor. They refused to come back and fix it. Will go to Barratt and Citizen Advise. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
