D Murphy Plumbing

Extremely unprofessional and very dissapointing service. As a young family with a little baby we needed an urgent help with the fix of a waste trap for our new sink. The plumber was late with 50 min and he was not able to fix it, but we were still charged £106. In order for him to come back instead of being charged half price, due to the fact he was late (as they claim, they charge £106 for the first our and half fee for every other hour) they requested again a full charge of £106. After explaining the problem and the fact that the plumber was going to be able to solve the problem if he was on time, we were only left with extreme rudeness and huge disappointment from their customer service office manager who instead of understanding our situation and offer to complete the work for half price, she accused us that we should have postponed the visit for the day after when we told that the plumber is running late.

We will never use their services again

Do not be fooled by the 5 stars comments. I came across to incompetent engineer who obviously was in a rush. I suggested an approach which was not taken by him at all and I was charged just because the guy came to my house and played with the pipe for 30 minutes.
I called a separate company (EmerGenie) – the real, genuine plumbers – who came around, did exactly what I suggested to the D-Murphy Plumbing engineer and I was charged half the price. If i was you, I would think twice before calling D – Murphy Plumbing!!!
