J & G Drain Services

Twice recently we found drains blocked at the parish church. The first time it was surface water, today (Good Friday) it was sewage that threatened to put our WC's out of order for the busiest weekend of the year. J & G excelled on both occasions. The work was done thoroughly, professionally and cheerfully.

Slow draining toilet and bath. Let down by another company so called these guys. They were out within an hour. Rates extremely competitive. Problem identified to roots growing in the sewage pipe and quickly cleared and the backlog cleared. They would be 5* other than the fact they only take cash or cheque and I was unable to pay using debit card so had to nip down the shop to get some cash out. Otherwise it was a brilliant service and I would recommend to anyone. They don't rip you off which is my primary concern when using a trade I don't know.

Initially their visit was very timely and professional but the issue with us reappeared. And when we contacted them to get some details on the issue and a revisit the engineer was absolutely rude and hung up on me.

A prompt and professional service carried out by very friendly workmen even while maintaining social distancing. They will now be my go to for any drain related work. I highly recommend.

Contacted on 15th July for a quote to replace a radiator with a heated towel rail and install a pump for the shower. A man appeared and looked at the job and said all was good, didn't hear back so called and was told the man who quoted was on holiday, still nothing called again, was contacted the next day to say they couldn't do the job because the man who did this type of job was off sick.
Very poor
