We had a great experience with the Leak Detection Company. Staff were friendly and helpful over the phone and we were booked in quickly. Sunny was also brilliant, finding the source of our leak, repairing it with the least possible damage, going the extra mile by making sure an existing scratched pipe was secure, and leaving everything neat and tidy. I also learnt so much from his insights! Would highly recommend!

From my initial call providing advise around insurance cover and clear information on what would happen right through to identification and fix this was a first class service.

Simon was on time, tried his upmost to finish in the paid for time and talked me through options and possibilities every step of the way.

Would 100% recommend

This company left me without a water supply to my washing machine and dishwasher. They invited me to leave a TrustPilot review which they then flagged for "harmful and illegal content".
So I will post here:

Misleading information on website - will only check for plumbing leaks nothing else.?
Although service was prompt and engineer friendly he left me without any water supply to washing machine! Found out a couple of days after of course office was closed

Since reading the response I have removed a star because you did not contact me after the bank holiday weekend - I had to call you. You responded to my phone call and not to my email marked "urgent".

You can publicly choose to belittle my opinion about your misleading website - this shows the arrogance your company has and you are not willing or able to hear feedback. Smacks of a toxic culture and business practices.

Dealing with THE LEAK DETECTION COMPANY LTD was totally hassle-free, especially in the middle of a water leak crisis damaging our home. One is left with the impression of a very well run family business, with a slick business process supported by an efficient admin back office team (shout out to Claire and Samantha).

The three staff members I had dealings with (Claire, Sam & Jamie) left a very positive impression and represented the company really well. Once I’d agreed to engage their services, they emailed the scope of the work and a clear breakdown of costs. There was no pressure selling and didn’t even have to make a pre-payment.

On appointment day, their engineer Jamie was waiting outside my door first thing in the morning. Using specialist equipment, Jamie worked meticulously to locate and repair the leak, doing his very best to not do too much damage. He was simply brilliant, friendly and courteous, yet extremely competent. Big shout out to Jamie K (top bloke). By the end of that working day, I’d been emailed an invoice, payment receipt and a detailed professional report for insurance claim purposes.

While they aren’t cheap (that field of work isn’t), they are excellent value for money, espcially in the middle of a crisis and will provide a super professional report for insurance claim purposes. I will not hesistate to use this company again if (heaven forbid) I ever suffer the misfortune of another water leak. I recommend this company wholeheartedly and with no reservations at all.

Claire in the office was really helpful and accommodated our urgent need despite short notice. Emails and confirmations were sent very promptly.
On the day of repair, Jonathan and Brandon were very friendly, efficient and professional. They arrived early, promptly set to work, found the leak then efficiently went about repairing it.
The repair is neat and they made sure to tidy and clear up before leaving. They were an absolute pleasure to work with.

We had a leak in our heating system that was causing the heating and hot water to fail overnight, requiring us to re-pressurise the boiler every morning. It was driving us mad, we had 5 plumbers come out who wouldn't touch it.

Brendan from The Leak Detection Company came out yesterday, bang on time, and well equipped. He explained each step of what he was doing, and why. He was able to trace the leak to the pipework under our kitchen floor. He quickly went to expose and repair the leak with some very tidy work. One day later and we have a toasty warm house and a boiler that is maintaining pressure - we are *so* happy, and relieved.

Would absolutely recommend these guys, it's not a cheap service, but you get what you pay for, and worth every penny in my book. Brendan, thank you, top bloke!

Due to a leak somewhere under the floorboards of our ground floor we had significant pressure drop in our boiler which repeatedly shut down our heating (a very difficult leak to find). The LDC senior engineer Anthony was methodical, systematic and highly skilled in locating the leak with minimum disruption to our flooring. His care and expertise were exceptional. Highly recommended.

Couldn’t recommend this company enough. From the initial enquiry phone-call, to the visit, they were excellent. We’d had 3 plumbers out trying to find/fix our leak issue who all struggled. The leak detection company came promptly, found and fixed the issue in just over 4 hours. It may be expensive but for us, it was worth every penny. Simon was one of the kindest, knowledgable and professional plumbers we’ve come across-and we’ve had a few! Thanks to him and the company, we now have a warm, stress free home for us and our baby, just before Christmas. Thank you again, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
