Have had my boiler service done for a few years with these guys. The text service to remind me last year was useful.. but I never got it this year so was a bit disappointed. They have quite a few staff so you don't have to wait too long to get an appointment and have helped with a couple of jobs. Probably not the cheapest place about but they are always friendly and do a great job and I don't have to wait months for an appointment so I'm okay with paying a bit more.

Central Plumbing fitted a new pump for me some months ago. Unfortunately, due to no fault of this company, the pump seized up. Liam responded to my Friday night email and assured me not to worry and that they would deal with the issue. True to word, they replaced the faulty pump as soon as possible after the weekend.
Very professional company, knowledgeable and polite staff.

Needed a plumber to repair/replace a leaking bathroom tap and was excited to find this well-reviewed firm just up the road from me. 3 phone calls and 4 emails to them, some with images, over the course of a week...net result, ZERO, the last 2 emails not even acknowledged. Phoned an online local plumber service today...net result, brilliant engineer arrived within 3 hours and taps now working...just had hot soak, which really helps my chronic lower back pain...and I was given an OAP discount. Not rocket science as to which I am happier with.

Called CPH to deal with a leaking boiler which left us without heating and hot water. They were able to come out same day which was great. Engineer was there 15 mins to diagnose issue (£90). Was told it was a simple part to replace so all good so far. However they took my details down wrong so sent the quote to the wrong email address then two two days to return my call after several chases during which time we still had no heating. Issue sorted a few days later and the fitting and part was reasonably priced. While the engineer was here, I asked him to look at a jammed trv on a radiator and he confirmed it would need someone to come back out and take a look. I booked this in and thought I had also asked for the new radiator to be installed but when the guy turned up he wasn't aware of this and wouldn't have time to do it. He did drain the system and do the trv though but I've had to diy fit the rad and have had to redrain it a couple of times to deal with a leaking connection - my fault but this is why I asked for a pro install! Be clear what you want and double check. Nice engineers but feel a bit stung by the original call out charge and miscommunications.

From initial enquiry reference a water leak to completion of job was dealt with professionally and quickly. Communication and being kept informed of any further work needed was great. Our leak was detected and we were qiven a quote for the work required which we could accept or decline. The rates are very competitive so we were happy to proceed. James the plumber who attended was friendly and professional and explained everything that needed doing. We are very happy with Central Plumbing & Heating and will most definitely use them again if needed.

Very good service all round and special thanks to Claire who was absolutely brilliant.  Within a day of my call I had someone round, a diagnosis and temporary fix.  Claire sourced the needed parts and the next day all was repaired. Reasonably priced and quick and efficient service. Hopefully, I won’t need them again soon but if I do need a plumber I will not hesitate with using Central Plumbing & Heating again.

Excellent service from start to finish. We received a reasonable quote for a power flush on our dysfunctional central heating in our new home. The two guys arrived promptly and went above and beyond to get our system working efficiently after 20 years of neglect. They worked cleanly and professionally throughout and despite having to remove every radiator in order to remove years of sludge and deposits, didn't leave our house until they were satisfied they had our system is working efficiently. They gave additional advise on how to maintain our heating system and we will definitely be using them again. I would highly recommend this company for its service and professionalism.

I wanted to replace my old electric storage radiators with a modern air to water heat pump system but needed advice and more information than what was available through the usual sources.
I contacted four suppliers and chose Central Plumbing and Heating for their ability to listen to what I wanted and their expertise in designing a system to suit my needs without any hard sell or overkill, not to forget a very competitive price.
The installation included heat pump, boiler and radiators and was completed in 5 days by an engineer and assistant/apprentice with explanations and advice at every stage. They were prompt, polite and hard working and cleared up every day before leaving.
I am very happy with the system now providing me with background heat all over the bungalow at a much lower cost than the storage heating.
