Towy Valley Heating Ltd

We were without hot water for 3 weeks with a 2 year old child because we were applying for a ECO3 grant to have our boiler replaced for once it wasn't the government that delayed things it was Towy Valley Heating. We were dealing with Tom who decided the best course of action when it came to checking our eligibility was to never get back to us and completely ignore my calls and messages. If you ever need to deal with this company just don't waste your time, find a professional.
Towy Valley Heating LTD are a bunch of time wasters.

Attempted to use Towy valley for both boiler and loft insulation. Boiler insulation was great, sadly the men caused a leak during their installation, however, they came back the following day to repair. 4 attempts at loft insulation; every reason given for failing to show on the days, double booked, van broke down then just nothing, even the office stopped answering the phone. Very very unprofessional and unreliable. I would have preferred a more honest approach of sorry we are very busy or a date in January. Failing to respond just leaves you as the customer feeling frustrated and annoyed. As much as I am happy with the boiler installation, I would not use this company again, there are so many other companies out there - in future I would shop around a bit more first. The other point to keep in mind is Towy commission out their work to other companies, so even if you think the other reviews balance this one out - and you go ahead and use them, chances are they will send a different company anyway. Shop around is my advice.

I can't thank Tom enough for saving my family from having no heating or hot water. Having a young child in house we were desperate. Thank you you to the boys who installed the boiler. Fantastic job. Again Tom we will forever be in your debt 👍

Three times they had to come back to do the job the plumber was a waste of time telling me he doesn't know what he is doing I had to call a different plumber to come and finish the job

Recent boiler and cavity wall insulation works done. Boys were fantastic and very happy with work. Highly recommended!!

Professional and speedy service. Kept updated with what was going on every step of the way. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff dealing with my questions.

We had a leaflet through the door and applied for a grant for home insulation improvements with Towy Valley in 2021.
Tom and his team were very nice, professional to start with, until we found out that they do not carry out the work themselves, they subcontract all the different parts of the contract.
We had a new boiler, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation...
The boiler caught fire within a week -
the cavity wall insulation, the polystyrene beads, blocked our kitchen extractor fan -
and we are still waiting for our loft insulation.
The mistake we did, we signed the paperwork on the day the boiler was installed, not realising we were signing off on the job.
When we contact Tom, the owner of Towy Valley Heating Ltd, he has informed us several times the loft insulation will be looked at.
That was months ago, and now he doesn't get back to my husband. Very frustrating! Stay well away!!

Didn't show up first day said they broke down rearranged for 2nd day and was a no show phoned a number of times said they were on they were on there way considering they were due at 11:30 it is now 16:19pm and still waiting.
If this is how they run there company they can stick it
