Before Christmas '15 our toilet became difficult to flush. A quick check on the web and many plumbers sites became available. Checking, most required a minimum of £100+parts+vat to attend. Checking Mr Holden's site I saw no such thing. I eventually contacted him and he said he would call that afternoon. After a very anxious wait he arrived at 7:00PM!!!!! After much work the offending syphon was replaced and the loo functioned as it should. The pan had been replaced by some "builders" and the joints were covered with sealant. Not so with Vyv, none. He was very quick really, delayed by a cuppa and some excellent conversation. A quick chat re cost, the agreed was paid, but not the £100++! As 2016 progresses I will ask him if he can do some more work for me, he is local, his work is without fault and he is reliable. 200% recommended.

I met Vyv recently when he replaced a worn out boiler.

He is very professional and does not stop until the work is done. On account of me having a neurological disability Vyv had to explain what to do with the boiler if the pressure dropped etc ...numerous times. He was very patient with me which was reassuring. He had to come back to tweak something and did not leave until he was sure I was happy with the results as much as he was. Vyv also told me to contact him anytime if I have problems. I would highly recommend Vyv to anyone.

Good service from a knowledgeable tradesman. Arrived when he said and serviced my boiler and got it going again. Had an unrelated issue later in the day and Vyv was happy to travel back out to get my boiler going. Worked late into the evening and did not leave until I had my heating and hot water working again.

Vyv Holden recently fitted a new Boiler and Unvented cylinder at my house after he was recommended by a friend. I initially thought it may be too far but he was willing to travel.

The job was completed quickly, in a professional manner with no issues. Highly recommended!

Vyv has serviced our combi boiler some years and has successfully resolve any problems that we have. He has just installed a new external boiler and internal water tank. He has installed the necessary plumbing for a solar thermal installation ready for next year. Vyv has always gone the extra mile for us, and we would recommend him to anybody.

Do not even think of letting Vyv into your home! He caused us so much stress I nearly had a breakdown. Trading standards were/are involved. The pictures are how our home was left after he tried and failed to install this unnecessary monstrosity which didn't even fit the cupboard and wouldn't ever actually work. Even setting fire to the cupboard at one point .The state our house was left in was so unsafe including a wrongly installed pressurised tank above my daughters bed in the attic we had to move into a travelodge until qualified workmen fixed what this man Vyv had failed in doing. 3 days he pottered and fiddled to try in desperation to get it to work until we told him to leave so we could get another company in. Cost us thousands to repair what he had done. Was the worst experience by far and even more worrying is the fact he thinks he did nothing wrong so will continue to go around doing things like this. Steer clear!

Unprofessional man who does not respect your property or personal physical boundaries. Caused several leaks, botched several projects on my property, does not take responsibility for his mistakes and charges the earth. Do not leave around girls/women unsupervised.
