My mother called to enquire about the availability of a home visit for my very poorly father yesterday. Having confirmed that she was speaking to Mrs Barnes she enquired if this was a possibility. Mrs Barnes replied "No" and promptly hung up. Absolutely horrified at this treatment. Good or bad day, busy or not; respect and courtesy cost nothing.
