Good access to car park and well laid out building for its purpose . I was lucky to get a cancellation to be seen on the day I phoned. I was checked over, and my gait videoed to show my weaknesses. I was shown how to do some exercises to improve my aches in my feet and legs. Being a big 71 yr old farmer I am teaching myself how I should walk properly again without wellies!!! Not like a Penguin?? I now must do my (homework) exercises before we see any improvement for my next appointment. Will Vigus Taunton Outback.

Good morning to the fabulous team at the Foot and Gait Clinic who treated me for a very painful foot injury just one week before the London Marathon and helped me to complete this tough run.
It turned out to be Mortons Neuroma and was successfully treated by a cutting edge technology, Shockwave Therapy.
A massive thank you to Alastair and Marian for administering this wonderful life changing treatment and for being so professional and supportive.

I can’t say enough goods things about The Foot and Gait Clinic. From the front desk staff to the podiatrists you get friendly, caring and professional service. This is my second time in and will continue to do so when visiting from Canada. Alex (podiatrist) and Ana (apprentice) were thorough in their workup. Luckily, I do not have any big issues with my feet, but being a hiker it’s important catch anything before it becomes chronic. Also, a big thanks to the gal at the front who booked me a convenient appointment and updated my profile without fuss. Keep up the good work! Norm

I have been coming to the Foot & Gait Clinic for a while now, for pain in my hip/buttock whilst jogging. Nothing has been too much trouble for the clinic – after an initial review I had orthotics made and subsequently 'tweaked'. More recently, with a recurrence of the pain migrating towards my knee the clinic has tried various treatments – sports rehab, shockwave therapy and 3D gait analysis. The latter has led to a change in my orthotics and targeted exercises for me to do at home. Many thanks to Marian, Alastair, Elliot & the reception team for their friendliness, efficiency and expert service.

Visited this place for the first time and saw Amy who was lovely! First time I had my feet done. Amy explained everything as she went along and was very informative when I asked questions. I have made another booking for March next year 😀

I was fortunate to have been recommended by an orthopaedic surgeon to seek help with my mobility, particularly walking by going to the Foot and Gait Clinic in Taunton.

Various experts have given me advice and treatment on a regular basis which are co-ordinated within the system.

A little time has now elapsed since I started and I feel that I shall be kept ‘on’ the road for as long as possible (I am 84!). I look forward to returning each time to the friendly and attractive place where all the practitioners go the extra mile to be encouraging, kind and even good fun, but above all, effective. I have since sent some of my children and grandchildren along too!
