North Yorkshire Police

There is NO DOUBT that the Police in Selby ARE there when we need them and they do care. I am in awe of how hard they work and after needing the services of them, the air ambulance, first responder and fire service recently, I feel safe in the knowledge that they are professionals who are also human...and they are amazing.... every one of them...Thanks Guys and Gals from the bottom of my heart x

I tried calling this number on Monday 2/5/16 at 10.00pm after hearing two really loud bangs which sounded very much like explosions. My patio doors actually shook. I wasn't imaging the noise as most of the village was out looking. I rang the number to be met with a standard voice call " sorry we are really busy for ring back please press 5" or words similar. LOL

Never police around when you need em, and always there when you don't. Always seem to be too busy to attend to any issues you have.

Since May 2017 I have been trying to get the
Selby Police to deal with a local drug dealer.
I have notified them of over 40 pieces of
intelligence, car numbers,descriptions etc.
Numerous officers have been involved in the receiving of the info.By appointment I have
Waited in for the officer to no avail. Not even
a call to say why they had not come.
The dealer will continue to deal whilst we
have to witness the daily passing of the drug
mules. A very unhappy resident.

Had a problem with theft. They told me they can’t do anything about it because it was over a year ago…. We have to pay for court and go to court.
