Not long ago (about a week ago) I was mugged and Kent police was amazing. They have done brilliant job and I would love to say big thank you to the officers. They have many cases like mine and they do their best to make our area as safe as possible. Thank you all!!! xx

Currently have 5,800 officers, staff and PCSOs and 309 Special Constables (August 2017).

Last year we dealt with 891,078 calls for help, resulting in approximately 131,607 recorded crimes.

Our Serious Crime Directorate and Support Services Directorate ( IT, Transport, HR, Procurement and Estates) are provided in collaboration with Essex Police.

Have unique responsibilities when it comes to policing the county.

As well as dealing with crime and disorder our geographic location - between London and Europe - means we have a part to play in national and international policing.

They are the main gateway to Europe through three ports, the Channel Tunnel and a number of airfields and airports such as Lydd.

I went to the station and they just told me to report the crime online.

So I did, same day. Received nothing.

Checked their website chat, they lost the report.

Made the report a second time.

A month later, still no calls or emails back. For something so simple.

Reported it to another jurisdiction and they answered in 2 HOURS.

Kent Police takes months. Absolutely useless. Still nothing from them. My faith in this police force is so low, I would expect more police assistance from a crackhead than these guys.

I will never take Kent Police seriously. They can't even do their own job.

Checking in was abit tricky but after some fumbling around and a few bumps and bruises I was shown to my room with no fuss.

The staff are pleasant and are happy to help with your requests.

The food isn’t to Michelin star quality standards but it is edible.

The mattresses are uncomfortable but after some tossing and turning you can quickly fall asleep.

The other guests can be some what noisy at times but the staff manage to quiet them down with some gentle persuasion.

The checkout the next morning was quick and simple with no hassle.

Highly recommend I will be staying again can’t wait to check back in soon.

Report a serious crime with evidence, now the case has been dropped because of lack of evidence. 2 people have now got away with the crime and will offend again. I now see why so many people take the law into there own hands.
Lost all trust and confidence in the police.

What is the point of letting the police know that a scramble type bike is in our park racing round while children, families and dog walkers are trying to enjoy the park?? A group o f youths giving each other rides and not worrying about who they intimidate but by the time you have given them all the necessary info they keep asking more and more irrelevant questions, the culprits have gone.Waste of time!!!

Public confidence in the kent police will never be restored. The chief needs to vet new recruits out carefully.
