Was here 4 months ago for work, to pick up someone for a transfer. My colleague and I were greeted quite warmly and offered tea/coffee and even biscuits by the PCs and the desk PS... without asking for it! A very refreshing change of atmosphere from the grumpy officers I typically deal with in London. The facility is fairly new, and inside, you don't get that feeling of unpleasantness that many other police stations give you (again, particularly in London, or other big cities). The officers were competent and quick in assisting us with our work, and we got our moves underway without a hitch.

Very friendly staff who are always eager to help, and after check in I was promptly shown to my room and was quickly able to access medical assistance when I asked. However this is where the hotel falls down, as the bed was hard with only a thin mattress and small pillow. I was given two blankets so one was used to supplement the pillow and the other was warm when pulled over me, but the lights couldn't be turned off which led to a bad nights sleep and there were no facilities for making tea or for entertainment. That being said the room service was prompt but the tea and coffee were of low quality and the food was no better than the drinks.
I checked out after just one night and I sincerely wish to never see this establishment ever again. All in all while the facilities were poor for a hotel the service was fantastic which is why I give this 3 stars.
Thank you to the staff for making my stay as pleasant as possible and for being so friendly. But I would not recommend a stay there to anyone I know 😀

Bad service cold welcome, they need more training for better understanding of the community that suffers from physical/mental disabilities, they they need to investigate fully before jumping to conclusions which result in non trust and psychological damage from the service, the cells needs a good cleaning it give a 1/10 for hiegene, i would of given 0 stars as the end result

Just reading Josh Harris review and can concur a cup of tea is indeed on the cards, even if you are a pain in the backside auditor and again like Josh says breath of fresh air compared to the grumpy buggers elsewhere. Costs nothing to be nice and approachable, thanks to the PC who came and spoke to me.
