Very good shop, staff helpful, and very knowledgeable, I use this shop very regular and have no complaints on service. A very good range of marine, tropical, fresh, and pond fish, and a good range of products at good non rip off prices. If you want service this is the place to go. They will let you browse without trying to sell you something, normally you find them by the counter if you want help and advice. A* rating from me.

I was quite disappointed with the conditions and range of stock here. I've seen worse conditions but there were a couple of dead fish in the tanks. The livestock pricing seemed around average but the equipment prices were a little high compared to other stores I've been to.

There were a couple of dead fish that looked like they'd been there a while and this did put me off buying from here.

I don't think I'll be back.

Have bought fish from this shop twice, first time 3 of 4 died the second time they infected my healthy tank with white spot. I’ve lost 3 of 8 bought only last week and my pleko L81 also suddenly died - there is no way that this is a coincidence. Will not buying here again!

Excellent! Emily and her staff always make you feel welcome. A good range of bread and butter species, plus quite a few little rarities too. A real little gem of a shop, run by people that are clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the hobby.

Easy to find, lots of free parking, and a cafe nearby too.

Highly recommended.

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I bought four goldfish from this shop (£50)! We were a tad taken aback by the cost but as we are new to having fish thought this was probably the going rate. We brought them home and did exactly what we were told before introducing them to the newly dug pond.which was the last time we saw them they wouldn’t eat and by day four all had died. We really deliberated as to whether we should give it another go or just fill the pond in. We decided to go to Fishden Aquatics at Rainham the whole experience was like night and day six very lively fish for £24 and we haven’t looked back they are constantly entertaining. I don’t usually write reviews but under the circumstances I felt compelled to for other people considering this sort of venture.

They stocked everything you could possibly need for a pond or fish tank

A little bit dearer but they should have anything to need for your aquarium/pond.

Very bad experience with this shop I bought two blood Red jewels and a male pleco and I've had all three fish die they were in two separate tanks absolutely fuming as all water levels pH kh nitrates etc are all fine all my other fish are fine too and for no reason all three fish have died over £36 was spent for less than 3-6 days I should of got the hint when I see multiple fish dead in there tanks been keeping fish for over 35 years too so its come as a huge shock to me too I will never use this shop again and will be asking for a full refund too if not I'll let my bank decide to get the money back!!
