Delightful service! Very friendly and pleasant staff who always greet you with a smile. Knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help. Thank you!

Unbelievably slow service. No sense of urgency. Staff just chat. No apologies for the wait. Just really unprofessional. Such a shame. So unnecessary.

Slowest serving post office in the world. Two staff behind counter but only one working whilst the other shuffles paper. Queue is easily 10 people deep.

Staff should prioritise serving customers and then deal with admin during quieter times

This used to be a lovely post office but complaints have been made one being myself.
Completely immature manager an his little side kick who do nothing but shout screech across to each other. Don't even attempt to get off stool behind counter to serve you, talk inappropriately about personal matters infront of customers an make no attempt to serve you whilst talking about sports. Very very poor service

Poor customer service.
No sense of urgency - I was the only one in the shop at 17:15 Monday. Took a minute before either of the ladies acknowledged me.
Confusing advice - I needed to get a document somewhere ASAP.
“You could do 1st Class Signed For which is 1-2 days or Super special next day delivery which will cost 3x as much and be there in 2 days because you’ve missed the cut off time of 17:07; it’s more secure and since it’s a passport you should do this”
Ok but sounds like it’s going to get there later and why is my post not secure both ways? She mentions identity theft and basically makes the choice for me. I can’t speak for Royal Mail’s care and quality of service, only she can. I feel like I got strongly up-sold at the expense of the PO’s reputation.
The signage and posters advertising their “Next Day Delivery” and saying “Don’t be rude to our staff” made much more sense on the way out.

The queues here can be ridiculous. One 1 person on the till at 12pm in the weeks before Christmas. During the rest of the year I have regularly queued for 30-40 minutes, even if I drop off a prepaid parcel. They could do with a self checkout or something. If you need to send a parcel look into DPD or Hermes, they're not perfect but they don't waste my time.

Went down there at 610pm and the main post office counter was close but website says open till 630, so I asked the guy working in the store and was told that he couldn't send my letter as the till for the post wasnt open.

Also had a problem on another occasion where it said it was open but closed mid day and knowone in the shop was trained to deal with post so why advertise that its open when they cant do the post.
