When I first visited this post office it had just recently moved from its old premises across the road. The staff were very slow and there was an enormous queue. I have been on a couple more occasions and it has improved slightly but I still try to avoid it as there are much faster branches a similar distance from me.

Do try to support local independent shops like this but it can’t compete with places like the co-op or Tesco express due to limited space and lack of choice. Good for basics like news, stamps, booze, cigarettes and sweets though. Service with a smile most of the time. Store clean. Can have to wait for post office services but that’s not just this store lol. Changed hands a few months back and seem to be doing a good job.

Do not have to queue usually . Bit hit and miss who you get at counter. Posted a package off 2nd signed for and found out they hadn't put a stamp on so had to pay at the other end. Staff seem to change rather a lot and training new people who make mistakes. Will go elsewhere.

This place has appalling customer service. I ordered 2 parcels to be picked up from here. The first time I went to collect them they said they did not have them even though I had received an email to say they had. The second time they were closed half an hour before their advertised closing time and just looked at me through the window shaking their head. These issues meant I never got my parcels and they were returned to the depot and I had to pay a fee. Awful place

So incredibly helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. There's rarely a queue and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
