Pinhoe Road Post Office

Fantastic Post Office counter within a McColl's convenience store. Enormously helpful and obliging staff, will always serve you whenever the shop's open, which appears to be seven days a week.
Parking on road outside, although it's a dedicated bus lane in morning rush hour, so be mindful of that. The only thing missing is a post box outside, but the team in the shop will drop any letters in their sack for you. At time of writing, I think final collection is abt 4.30pm Mon-Fri. Long may they continue!!!!

It's perfect little post office

Frustratingly unreliable. Lost count of the times I've come here to find no staff on the PO till, or things out of order. Huge waste of time to have to keep waiting or being turned away. Gutted this is my local frankly because it's constantly unreliable and understaffed. Third time this year I've had a wasted trip now and had to drive just to post a parcel.

The latest times mail is accepted can vary – see the notice displayed in the branch. Not much use if they differ and you have to go a long way to find they are closed before the advertised times. Easy to fix, update the information with actual hours and improve the customer experience for Morrison's and Postal Service's with one simple action.

Much more convenient of any other post office (if you can still find one): the opening hours are much more flexible than elsewhere, i usually don't find a queue and the staff are fast.
There isn't a great selection if stationery, but that can be found anywhere.
