Higham Hill Post Office

Very unprofessional staff. My dad had to come back home as the the man that works there did not accept his council tax letter to pay. Imagine now it’s been few weeks my dad has to pay penalty fines. I was told by the council that his letter was perfectly fine. If staff member can’t help customers why have they still got him, always not helping n saying “this is my job” what about OUR service/help which is needed to us. I feel sorry for the elderly/disabled customers who has to wait outside for soo long only because the staff works so slow. And they can’t afford to get another kind person to work there who works sufficiently with a decent level of being quick. Who ever is in charge needs to look into him. And hire another person please. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

Went to send a letter for which I needed recorded delivery, gentleman at the counter chose the most expensive way (special delivery by 1pm) and without even asking if it was OK or tell me the price, just stuck all labels on the envelope. £7!! When I complained and said I wanted a cheaper 48 hours option he just shrugged it off non-committally saying you can only buy those online (not true as it turns out, there’s recorded/signed services from just over £2). I honestly couldn’t be bothered arguing it further, but it’s the last time I use this post office. So convenient and cheaper to buy postage online nowadays.

Meh. It's an OK Post Office, However I have to say that the owner is really unprofessional. For example, his shop is supposed to open at 09:00, however he usually opens it at 09:15.

The gentleman who runs the Post Office is always friendly and helpful. Thank you for your continuing service.

Arrived close to closing time but they were still very helpful in getting everything sorted. Thanks again!

The old man at the reception was very rude and slow. Shop is too small to be a post office. Make sure you have a lot of patience and time if you are planning to visit this post office.

The man that runs that post office is rude and unprofessional. Accused me of trying to fraud my energy supplier vouchers when I had my ID and proof of contract with supplier and shouted and humiliated me in front of a shop of customers. I will never use that post office even when it's my local one.. the shop looks like it a brick o brac shop.

Very slow service. i had to wait in line for 30 minutes plus. The old man at the counter was very rude. No respect for customer what so ever.
