This place is consistantly bad or at best indifferent with service. But today they took things to a new level of low.
I am a Nuerodiverse women with severe ADHD and I have a therapy dog I take with me everywhere. I was carrying my dog as they do not allow them to be in the store on the lead.
With my addressed envelopes I arrived at the PO. I then had to be given a new envelop for a special delivery to re-address. It was a real struggle holding my 7 kg dog at the counter with no real space available or flat surface. The clerk stood behind the glass shield and made no attempt to either help not offer help.
When it came to the point I had to put my envelop into the new envelope I could not manage this and I asked for assistance. At this point the clerk said, all I needed to was ask and he told me a normal person would have left their dog outside!!!! Saying that to a Neurodiverse person is completely inappropriate!
I waited to see the manager/boss - she was completely supportive of her staffs view, she tried to justify him over and over and was even ignorant enough to see because they couldn't see my disability that should some how make it ok!
There is a wonderful PO called the Mail Room at 268 Battersea Park road, it is worth the extra walk as the staff there are the opposite, they are friendly and can not do enough for you.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The worst customer experience you will experience. The man at the post office desk was incredibly rude, racist and unhelpful. He obviously has internal issues that he is projecting onto customers. Don’t go there if you don’t want to ruin your day.

I was thinking the other day how important this Post Office is to our lives. It has the same essential qualities as a small village Post Office. Each Morning, my 83 year old Father visits them for his paper and any necessities. They never fail to raise a smile on his face. All of the staff, especially Parish and Priti, have a kind word and a friendly, happy greeting. They look out for my Father, and as hard as this is to imagine in these modern times, during lockdown, they passed under his balcony calling up to to see if everything was ok. They are the only Post Office We go to, not least of all because they are a one stop shop, but because their friendliness, care, kindness and personal service to their customers is quite honestly astonishing and second to none. I really appreciate them and all they do for me, and so many others in our community. They are invaluable and we are so lucky to have them.

Please DO NOT go to this post office unless you want to start an unnecessary debile argument with a grumpy old man (older Indian man). I had such a bad experience on Saturday, morning on the 5th of November, I left the place feeling unpleasant.... I would rather go to DHL or FedEx despite the higher fees because the counter clerks are better with handling customers.

I find the service so quick and efficient every time and the people behind the desk are extremely kind and friendly.

The lady is efficient, professional and always very nice. Pleasure to deal with. But the old man is just passive-aggressive, borderline rude, every time. Once I asked him to please put a “fragile” sticker on my parcel. He didn’t respond in any way and I wasn’t sure if he’s heard me. So after a long couple of minutes I reminded him of this sticker and he yelled back “can I finish this first, I heard you the first time”. Ugh! What is his problem! Why is such person at a front desk at all, he can’t even say hello, like ever. Sad

Absolutely horrid. The actual people behind the post office are nice. But the shop, is a joke. All they want is your money, it’s an absolute con. The guy is so rude. Beyond disgusted at how they can treat people with such disrespect.
