I visit West Norwood post office, regularly, for years and years; and, seldom if ever had a problem. They always treat me friendly and polite; and, do dress/behave well; they open promptly on time/and, close on time; the post office is kept clean. Unfortunately, whenever dealing with the 'general public'...some customers can be really 'difficult, evil, and bad minded; if not downright prejudiced'; and, frankly, I don't know how it is they manage to cope; but, somehow, or other they seem to remain quite calm enough...being kind and pleasant to even the most rude. Sometimes, the service slows down...especially, if there is a huge queue; but, that exact same thing happens absolutely everywhere you go; solution come back when they are less busy, maybe.

I go in sometimes when l buy a first class stamp and sending back a package to send back, just a normal post office like any other post office in different areas in London.

The only positive with using that post office was never losing parcel, but every time I asked for tracking number after reading reviews.
Also seems a day practice for the stuff to sell more expensive services like signature or tracking order. You ask for 1st class stamp and they give you more expensive option. Also multiple times witnessed not being very helpful with service or questions BUT selling more expensive postage option.
I limited my visits just to buy stamps once a while.

I don't even want to give them one star!
This is the worst post office I've ever been to.
My partner and I was short changed twice. Once for £10 and the second time I went I took out a few hundred and it was £100 short.
I was in a hurry and didn't check which was my bad but didn't expect somebody at the post office to steal right in front of me.
They have clearly done this before and are very good at it because how I didn't notice is beyond me!
It wasn't until I got to the bank that I realised.
I went straight back and when questioned I was told I was the liar and to leave!
I asked them to check their security cameras but apparently the cameras were not working. Very convenient!!
I don't know any Post Office where cameras are not working or not switched on.
So if you have to use this post office please check all money before leaving these daylight robbers

I went there 1 year ago (because it's the only Post office near my house over the last 2 years) and I had a terrible experience there. I sent a parcel to Mexico for a friend and I asked for help to one of the women that work there (still there) once I was attended by her. She let me do everything by myself when I was asking her some questions about the delivery, it was my first time sending a parcel overseas and I didn't know much about the process. I paid everything and after almost 3 months my friend never received my parcel there. It got lost on the way (according to the Post office) I received a cheque worth of what I paid at that time but not for the value of the things inside. It seemed that the problem was that I didn't ask for the TRACKING NUMBER. And when I asked the same woman (1 week later after my first visit) for the tracking number she just told me that it was my fault for not asking her the tracking number first and that she could not give me any tracking number now. How was I supposed to know that I needed it? She knew it was my first time and I didn't know what exactly ask and do and she couldn't bother help me, she didn't give me any solutions at all. Since then I rather want to go to another Post office than there when it comes to send parcels overseas.
Poor customer service.
