Twickenham Post Office

Unprofessional staff doesn’t know their job,waiting for half an hour even though their was no one in que but three people working all busy doing their business. No one cares about customers . When asked about waiting time older Indian guy pointed his finger to door saying if don’t want to wait can use different post office won’t use their service ever and don’t recommend them too. Disappointed

Almost completely useless. Once again populated by nonplussed individuals seemingly believing they are owed employment by way of their obvious attitude problems - arriving at this location one evening 17:22pm only to find counter woman trying to head off nearly 10 minutes before the OFFICIAL closing time by locking up early and physically preventing me from entering the establishment whilst banging on about 'no we closing we closing'.

Then taking an important bill from me for which I had to pay to have delivered First Class, signed for, and just leaving it at this place for two weeks before declaring it 'LOST' with no onus whatsoever on these jokers to have to locate or explain the disappearance.

Useless.

Watch the guy at the currency change he gave me a Brazilian 50 note which is the same colour as a euro 50 . When i went back he refused to say he'd given it to me .

Every time I come here for something I have a bad experience. When taxing a new car they really didn’t want to set up a direct debit, despite requesting to pay that way, clearly because that method takes a few minutes to set up, which wasn’t welcome. I also asked for a recorded delivery with a signature with no urgency. I was sold the next day guaranteed delivery which wasn’t necessary, but 3 times the cost.
The staff are generally dismissive, rude and make you feel you are bothering them. I really don't like leaving negative reviews but seeing as this appears to be an every day experience for them, perhaps they need the feedback.

Other branches stated that they did the service I needed but when I arrived they said that service not available 😕but this lovely place did exactly what I needed and with a smile 👍 very happy with my experience 🥳

Very RUDE manager and staff. They don't care about anything. They have just concentrated on taking the customer's money without proper service. They don't care what kind of services they provide customers. Very Very bad tempered staff, without any patience to guide the customers. I highly recommend avoiding this post office as they have a bad-tempered manager and staff who don't care about customers' letters and parcels.

Opening times on Google say open to 5pm on Saturday. I'm here at 4:10 pm and it's closed.
Update 2 months later I have had to use this post office again and I witnessed exactly the same behaviour described by others. Busy lunchtime, only one person serving, 2 employees behind the glass just chatting for the whole time I was there. When served,battitude is unhelpful bordering on rude and I was unable to post a first class letter because I had"put something in it" ( a thin paper card, total weight was less than a third of the maximum allowable) . Very frustrating and I will endeavour to avoid using this post office whenever possible.

The week before Christmas, a queue out the door and 3 members of staff but 2 of them are chatting not serving the whole time I waited - more than 20 minutes. This is aways the case here.
