Ladywell Road Post Office

Well located post by office, however the elderly gentleman who works there is beyond rude. I have never met anyone in a customer facing environment who had such poor manners.

I don't understand why he speaks to people the way he does. He acts as if he doesn't want to be there and hates his job. On three occasions now he has been rude to me and now once to my wife. It seems he doesn't like you to ask questions (even though no queues).

This was the last time we will use their services, now forced to use another post office nearly 10 mins further away, simply because of how painful it is to deal with such a poor example of humanity.

I often use this post office, I find the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. As for everyone complaining about the gentleman, I hadn't realised Ladywell was full of over sensitive - easily offended types. You're sending a parcel for goodness sake - not going for a facial. He has been very helpful with me in the past, and grumpy too. I don't take it personally, and I wouldn't travel to a further away post office just because someone behind the counter is having a bad day. I suggest you try out Lewisham centre post office, then you will see how good we have it here in Ladywell :)

Genuinely the worst post office in the world. The staff are incredibly grumpy and rude and move at a glacial pace. I’ve started going to a post office 10 mins further away and it’s still faster in total.

Super convenient, great staff. It’s a small shop & so when it’s busy they have to work in difficult conditions but I’ve had great advice for my small business & they work efficiently & effectively. Thanks

Another family run business in the heart of Ladywell. Use this place a lot and the staff are always friendly.

Propably the friendliest neighbourhood post office you are likely to find with excellent service!

TLDR: Don’t use them as a collection point.

I chose them as my collection point, email received saying it was ready to collect. I get there to collect and they tell me they don’t have it. I Check the tracking the next day, turns out it was sent back to Croydon for no reason according to twitter support so now I have to wait at least 3 more days and hope it doesn’t happen again

The best post office in the area. The staff are friendly and ever so helpful. Keep up the great work.
