Addiscombe Exchange Post Office

Worst post office in the area.
I would give it zero stars if I could!
4 counters and only one person serving.
No sense of urgency.
Also the staff act like they are doing you a massive favour by serving you.
SIMPLY AWFUL!
AVOID THIS POST OFFICE IF YOU CAN!!!

This post office is a joke 10.30am and only one person behind the counter serving for a very busy post office.When you do get served and you have all the documents needed for your passport renewal they still try and tell me that my photo is no good and I need a signature on the photo for a renewal which is not the case,they are just rude and too lazy to do their job,clearly don't know what they are doing as when I went to main croydon post everything I had brought here was fine and my renewal was successful as I now have my passport!! I experienced similar issues today when trying to validate my sons oyster zip card application and nothing has changed in the last few months clearly.Large amounts of training in customer service required here.Will never waste my time there again.

I have waited 30mins for a 1 minute job.
There was only one lady working and constantly 20 people in the queue.
5 stars for the lady she was very nice

I had a decent experience, the queue was about 4/5 people deep when I arrived at 1.30PM.
I didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes because there were 2 people on the desk.

The staff at this branch are just too rude and I’ve had a number of unpleasant interactions over the past two years. After the recent incident I’ve had enough and won’t be using them again. I suggest you avoid this branch! Queue is terrible as well and they constantly try and push the more expensive service on you.

Gets busy occasionally and they tend to have only 2 positions open. But, serves it's purpose as a local utility.

Today I wanted to draw cash (£50) from the PO counter at Addiscombe Exchange CR0 6RF as I have done many times, using a debit card. I asked for a mix of £10 and £5 notes. The counter clerk (Lata) refused to give me any £5 notes even though I could see she had some in her till.

Also, why are there only 1 or 2 staff on duty even at busy times?

There's like 4 desks and only ever maximum of 2 staff... Then add to the fact that they work at the speed of the indegenious North American banana slug which is the slowest slug in the world. The staff also have the manners of a fed up angry black rain frog which has been awarded the world's grumpiest animal... So yeh enjoy your wait to be served by staff with 0 customer service....
