Hornsey Delivery Office

In short your items will be 'lost' or 'stolen' even with tracked items. Postie was caught on CCTV selecting items to keep especially tracked items that in these days don't require a signature. He seems to think they're more valuable.
One month later after reporting the missing post and delays we still see the postal worker hiding behind the building interfering with mail. Even after reassurances from Royal Mail Help and Post office nothing has happened except recently the Scheme manager was given a load of mail by a postal worker and had to deliver herself!
I suggest anyone who has an issue with their mail involving the Hornsey delivery office persevere and complain. Far too many items of worth are going missing and it's disgraceful.

I had a eBay item come from Australia, and there was a customs fee to pay. I never received any letter or leaflet to notify me, and royal mail sent it back to sender. I didn't know who would be delivering until I was to receive a letter. I will never be using royal mail to send any of my items.

Never open when you need it

A truly awful experience. This collection office is not at all convenient for most peoples that have mail returned there. We feel our latest postman goes out of his way to try not to deliver mail, there is some times the lightest tap on the door before the dreaded red card is put through, even though we have a bell that they refuse to press. After waiting ten days for a first class parcel to arrive before Christmas, with all tracking unavailable on the useless royal mail app we left instructions on Christmas eve to please leave our parcel with a neighbour should it arrive (last chance to get it for Christmas) and the horrible postman ignored that and posted the sorry we missed you card knowing its probably a Christmas gift and also knowing the collection office would be closed for 4 days. Royal Mail are the absolute worst delivery company going and an absolute disgrace to our country.

Officially one of the poorest delivery records during covid pandemic in the UK according to the BBC news. Unfortunately, and at a new low, no post has been delivered ifIf almost two weeks to my street in N8 at the time of this review, including both letters and tracked packages that are due. In general though, it is not uncommon for tracked packages to go missing.

The rating is on the management of this delivery office and not the many diligent individuals I’m sure work there, though, one substitute postal worker took it upon himself to leave all letters on peoples doorsteps, perhaps in some misguided attempt to be efficient whilst having an absolute disregard for the sensitivity and security issues associated with his course of action!

Even the postman does not know where the post i. I have set up a new PO box he forgot to open a space for me and i have payed for this as well. They need a new and experienced people there and investigation to this delivery office as soon as possible.

Adding a photo of the opening times as they're seemingly not available anywhere on the Internet or delivery card and there's no phone number, in the hope ill prevent anyone else from walking 2 miles from Hornsey to find they close at 10am...Will have to just pay the extra to divert everything to the local high Street office to avoid this happening again with multiple changes and totally unpredictable hours.

Really poor service which doesn't even worth the one star, no updates from them, no one picks the phone my parcel been sitting on their depot for almost 4 days....
