Post Office Ltd

Always a line at this post office, friendly staff but processes are very long and makes waiting very frustrating when all you want to do is post a letter. They need a separate line for people who want to simple tasks like posting of letters and small items. Expect to wait up to 30mins when there are others being served.

Went in today to collect a package. I was asked when it was delivered, no date written on the card and I’d been home all previous day and that day, but only noticed the card when checking the post today, did say it could have been yesterday, but “no date written on the card”. Lady told me to come back tomorrow, without even checking. Felt like an inconvenience to her, when now it’s a huge inconvenience to me, the customer, because she refused to do her job and check. I did track and trace online when I got home and could see the parcel was there at the post office waiting for me to collect from previous day delivery, if only she’d been bothered to check.
The staff are like chalk and cheese, one gentleman chats for England and is very pleasant, the rest lack any customer service or personal skills.

Be careful when posting certain items in this post office.
I have sent 2 mobile phones and both times got served by an older male employee.........let's just say both times the phone never arrived. I have had friends now talk about the same thing with the same guy. Comes across nice and sweet, talks the talk with the women........be careful when he is serving you.
Other then that, just the waiting time. They don't rush no matter how big the que is, then they get rude with you, especially the one with a chip on her shoulder

Absolutely incredible. A post office which runs like clockwork, where the staff are helpful knowledgeable and try to save you money. The store is clean and there's sometimes a queue but they process it quickly.

Note: you can't post postal supplies here. You need to go to Tesco for that. There's a photobooth for taking pictures if you need it. You can pay with money or card.

Joined the super long queue for the post office this morning expecting to wait for hours, was pleasantly surprised the queue went down quite quickly. I was served by Gareth, he was so polite and a pleasure to meet (unlike his female colleague mentioned in several other reviews!). I left the post office with a smile on my face, not normally my experience! I hope to be served by Gareth again in the future. He's really changed my experience of the Addlestone Post Office!

Staff always extremely friendly and as long as you avoid Monday mornings, you don’t have to wait long.
Queues during Covid very orderly and everyone keeps their distance. Marking on the floor are a great reminder to people 👍🏻

Post office at Tesco Extra Addlestone, showing as OPEN till 17-30, but is CLOSED at 13-10.....Tesco Cust. SVCE...Was a waste of time, as operative said was updated by RM, despite being on Tesco Website, could not give call back back with result. Wasted time contacting such an Unfocused Cust Svce. 😩😩
