Post Office Ltd

Ridiculously slow service and no regard for people waiting. Spent half an hour of my life standing in a queue of 6 people posting parcels. Only posting parcels. Nothing tricky or difficult. The teller works at a snails pace. They had one position closed despite having visibility that there was a queue of at least another 12 people behind me.
They always work slowly, but you would think that in the run up to Christmas over a lunchtime, they could pull their fingers out and work more quickly and be willing to work for their customers.

On three separate occasions within a few months I've gone in to post an item between 7am and 8:30am and the staff are not in to deal with post. There is supposed to be a till open at the front and has been in the past, but they are never in these days. Post office staff are not in till at least 9am+.
It's frustrating and wasteful of my time when the advertised times are not correct, and not even an apology, always a useless excuse of "traffic"... for a 3 hour delay... it's supposed to be open at 6am according to postoffice.co.uk!!

Long queue inside and outside due to social distancing. 2 cashiers sitting behind the counter but only 1 is accepting parcels whilst the other one sits there doing something else. A bit ridiculous, queuing for almost 30 mins and other people outside worried they wont make it in on time before the shop even shuts. Very slow service. They should really have 2 cashiers open given the circumstances.

This post office should get zero stars for Robert (which he told me was his name and that he did not own this Post Office branch) as he is always rude and always unprofessional. We have all put up with him for the last 4 years (approx) but 2 weeks ago the Royal Mail lost a valuable parcel posted at the counter and Robert refused to provide a postal receipt when I tried to post the claim form. Instead he accused me of not having posted parcels at the post office counter, despite the fact that I had a proof of posting for the parcels; one of which arrived but the other did not. As with so many other reviews, the Post Office should fire him as the other lady serving at the counter for over 10 years is excellent. Bye Bye Robert, I say.

Disgusting staff, I was refused service because I arrived at 4:25pm (the closing time is apparently 5:30pm so I don't understand why this is a problem). He told me it is impossible to post anything by special delivery after 4:15pm even though my parcel was already stamped up. I waited around until 4:45pm and saw the postman arrive to pick up the special deliveries, no reason why it couldn't have been included! I'm assuming it is because he couldn't take a cut of the profits as I had used stamps.

very unprofessional and rude staff. I am not sure who really manage them but these people should have training who to deal with people first. I have never seen this level unpleasant experience in post office.

Useless service
Trying to send a parcel and was told address Don't exist even though my mate lives there and refused to take parcel

I live a short walk from this Post Office but would rather drive to another. Staff are very slow and the older gentleman has been very rude on multiple occasions. Atrocious customer service, he snapped at me when I asked a simple question, shouted at me another time when I approached the counter (with no-one else in front of me) without being called forward.

When the counter has been very busy there is own only one counter open with the other member of staff doing something else and not bothering to open to address the rush.
