I've been here multiple times for IDs as well as for sending packages, and the staff is kind and helpful. It is small for the city centre, so the wait can be long in busy times, but you can use the automated machines for simple tasks and the staff is available for questions.

i think it leaves a really bad impression on people to go out of your way to be unhelpful- skipped my ticket number because she had been waiting for the previous number who was in conversation with another customer- after he had been served she skipped onto the next number. tried to explain that i should have been called after him and was mistakenly skipped- she didn’t want to hear any of it. told me to wait, then served a customer that had just walked through the door- after i told her i’d been skipped and waiting for a while. funny because the mistake was on your part, so why react like that ? not necessary to project your attitude onto customers who have waited patiently, i also work a customer service job, i hope you can find some inner peace one day.

I went in today to renew my driving licence photocard and thought the service was great. I was met at the door on arrival by a lady who asked what I needed then gave me a ticket. I had just sat down when my number was called. I was served by a gentleman called Clive at counter A who was extremely courteous, helpful, informative, friendly and efficient. I was out of the post office in under 10 minutes., bearing in mind I had to have my photo taken and read the terms and conditions, ect. All round pleasant experience. Thanks.

No waiting, very pleasant person behind the desk. Received answers to my questions. A pleasant experience and would certainly recommend.

Literally the worst. I went at 5pm in the afternoon on a hot day, 30 mins before the post office is supposed to close, and the ac was turned off because the staff wanted to leave as soon as possible - this is some sort of method to kick everyone out the room. The staff that assisted me was obviously grumpy about something beforehand and just wanted to put it down on the customer. Poor person behind me, got turned away from the post office as soon as the clock ticks 5.30 even though they have been waiting for a while for the service. The staff definitely need more training on manners.

I had a parcel redirected to the Post Office for collection.

My wife kindly took the bus into town to pickup the parcel for me yesterday (with 4yo in tow), only to find that the opening hours had been changed at short notice.

Today, she's taken the bus into town again to collect the parcel. On arriving she joined a queue outside, but one of the staff locked the door 10 minutes before they close for lunch, and shouted "closed for lunch, read the sign."

Perhaps 6 months into the pandemic I could understand that companies were poorly staffed and employees were under stress. Now I think it's just a bad excuse for poor service.
