High Street North (256) Post Office

This is the worst post office I have ever seen. I old guy’s behaviour is very rude. Sorry to say, he must needs customer support training. Couple of times he refused to take parcels because it was in bulk amount. All the time he said to go to the big post office. Honestly I don’t know why???? Sometimes I was angry because I was in hurry but didn’t tell him anything because he is a senior guy.

My wife had the same experience and most of the time he told to drop in the parcel box outside the shop. Just pathetic....

We completely stopped to go there....

The guy in there claims he cant take packages after 4pm eveb tho post office is open till 5:30pm his only happy with paying customers not goods which have prepaid stamps!

Today I went to post an item already postage paid on eBay but the person in charge was refused to give me the proof of postage. He said , you already paid so I can't give you proof of posting. This thing seemed very suspicious to me so I took my parcel back and posted from another post office. Please everyone be careful!! It happened today 29th June 2020 at around 12:10 pm.

A total embarrassment for HM Post Office, I'm not even sure how that can even be named "post office" The owner opens up and closes as he pleases, you have to wait in front of the store for minutes, not having any idea if he will open or not and when he finally shows up his attitude is horrible, treating you as u are there to steal or something and acting as if he is 10 times better than you. Never again in my entire life!! Avoid at all costs!!

Worst service I will never step a foot in there again arrogant and rude and I think post office should take away post office licence from that shop as it does it give a good picture for the post office I don't want to give him any star

No hello no thank you very rude abrupt attitude and they all gather round at the till they are clearly clueless they dont know what they are doing. No training and poor english. Twice gave me wrong change

Lovely lady called Emmalyn pretty much runs this post office, always helpful and very friendly and works very fast
It’s a shame about the management, not enough staff, not enough open tills and opening hours change without warning
They need to change the manager to someone who wants to do the job

Run by the laziest man I have ever come across with. Could not even bother to scan my QR code for a prepaid return and was making up dumb excuses that in 25 working years he has never done this and I should print out the label (I have been there once before and they had no problem before? Funny). Aditionally, made up closing times and only rectified when I showed him on Google that IT WAS OPEN INDEED, and just 2 seconds before he was attending someone else!!. Lack of customer service, really rude and LAZIEST person working in his so called "post office". AVOID.
