Always waiting ages in here! Staff are quite blunt and obnoxious unless you know them when they stand chatting for ages and they NEVER answer the phone.... I use post office further up town.

Was looking up opening times and seen all these negative comments, I find it hard to believe what you're all saying, I mean it's your local post office not a restraunt, leaving feedback like this is just uneended and rude, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year post office staff, enjoy the 5 stars

Utterly miserable and abhorrent staff.
Female staff member looked at an email I had to provide to get the Warm Home Discount and I hadn't realised that I needed ID.
So I asked if she would be able to process it anyway and she went over to another staff member and spoke so loudly that everyone in the shop looked at her, listened to what she said, then looked at me. The Warm Home Discount is for people whom are on a really tight budget, like benefits or minimum wage and it can be a little bit embarrassing to speak about, as nobody wants to be asking for a hand out. Obviously it's nothing to be ashamed about, but we all know that feeling of having to ask for help can be daunting.
So the fact that she broadcast my circumstances out to 6 other customers and 3 staff members was quite embarrassing.
It wouldn't of been so bad but she was very rude about it. As if it was her money.
When I handed my phone over to her to scan the barcode, she said - and I'm quoting - "Oh, another one eh"
We all need help from time to time and we shouldn't be made to feel bad for asking for help.
As others have mentioned, this place needs to either train their staff properly and teach them how to have a modicum of respect for people or sack them and start a fresh.

If you can, please use another Post Office. These people should just be thankful they have employment and don't have to ask for help!!

I personally have found the staff to be efficient and helpful and to show goodwill to their customers at this difficult time.
