St Isan Road Post Office

The dark haired lady has a bad reputation in the area. Having just moved here I've also experienced her sly comments about customers and in my case the size of the parcel bag I had. I chose to ignore the comment but then today was told my 18 month old should have a mask on (managers rules) when the covid guidelines clearly state children under 11 do not have to.

I'll chose another post office thanks.

I’m a regular user of the post office and I find both members of staff to be great. They are both friendly and efficient even in extremely busy times. I would like to thank you both for the great service and a special thank you to Roxy, who has worked single handed throughout lockdown. You are very much appreciated.

Having acknowledged all comments. I am hurt by what has been said about my branch. I am the sub postmistress for St Isan Road post office. Considering I work by myself from 9-5pm without a break all day, and during a global pandemic, when a lot of branches have closed or close early. Customers need to also be grateful that I am still open and willing to serve until 5pm. Also manners work both ways. Those who are reading this please note I serve my last customer at 4:50pm, as I do not know how long I will be with that customer for. Please plan your day in advance. Thank you and take care :)

A delight! Our local post office - and a 'gem' in our local community.

Both the staff are always friendly and helpful. I transact most of my business here - cash withdrawals and deposits to my bank, mailing services, as well as travel money. I have quite a lot of mail, and there is always ready and appropriate recommendations as to the most economical and suitable services for posting. More than this, they sell a great range of cards for all occasions, loose sweets and stationery. How they do all this so very well in the space is remarkable.

What's more, I particularly commend them for their service throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Indeed, it is what has prompted me to write this review. This post-office has remained open for the duration. They have kept longer hours than most banks and other post offices. All their additional services have come to the fore throughout this time. They really have shown themselves to be our 'fourth emergency service' in supporting the local community so far during the pandemic.

Thank you - for the contribution you make to our local community. You really have proven yourselves to be an essential service!

The dark haired lady is extremely rude. She complains about the customers regularly. She spoke to me like mud yesterday. Being polite and kind doesn't cost a penny!

I regularly use this post office and always find the service to be efficient and helpful despite being constantly busy. Thank you!

I find it’s the customers are the problem, winging and tutting due to the queue at times..

The dark haired woman is very rude and has no manners at all. The way she speaks to people is appalling and disrespectful.
