Tredegar Post Office

VERY cramped and claustrophobic, though at the end of the day it gets the job done.

If I could I would rate it 0 stars. Very unpleasant woman was making fuss and problems about everything... on the end surprised I'm giving her the letter I wanted to send... Is this a post office?! Sooo rude! Avoid it if you can!

I sent an item sold on eBay to America and I've written "United States" as the country of destination. But then I noticed that the woman at the counter has written "America" next to it on the label, which puzzled me. So I ask her why she did that and she said "Because it's USA, isn't it?". What she didn't realise is that she's forgotten the "of" in between. So basically, the country of destination is now "United States America". Sounds quite pedantic, doesn't it?

The most abrupt and horrible staff in the town!!! Especially the owner!

One of the worst post offices I’ve ever been in. The woman with glasses behind the counter doesn’t acknowledge you are there and completely ignores you. Unbelievably ignorant. Avoid and go to ebbw vale, staff a million times more polite and helpful.

Staff here seem to get off being as rude and as abrupt as they possibly can. Why? The main exception, I have to say, is the Asian gentleman (manager/owner?) who usually serves us from the front window position.

Why, in this day and age, do they close for lunch, and, if they do, why isn't it made abundantly clear EVERYWHERE, especially on the internet?

Lunch, currently, is from 1.30pm to 2.30pm every week day. There, how hard was that?

How can you support your local Post Office when it doesn't open on a Saturday- ridiculous

Not much in here and it’s pretty cramped. I only give two stars for the owner/manager who is very polite and pleasant. He usually works on the till at the front and I always go to him for serving.
The loss of stars is for the two women who work behind the post office counter. They are both extremely rude and point out every little mistake you make and make a big deal out of it. If you go in avoid these two and go to the owner, he’s way more friendly
