Went to use passport check and send service. Very rude woman had a go at me because I arrived at 16:00! Then tutted, said my handwriting wasn’t neat enough and that it would get rejected. Sent it off anyway and it was fine! Would’ve took longer to get my passport if I had listened to her! Rude, insulting and wrong! Avoid! No wonder people prefer to do things online!

The only good thing about my visit was I didn't have to wait long as they were not busy. I approached the counter and asked if I could pay an amount off my argos bill, (using my manners) the cashier repeated my request and that was the only correspondence I got from start to finish, during my visit the staff were talking to each other about the jobs they were doing next, I was handed my completed paperwork without being looked at or thanked, I stood for a couple of seconds and said "Thank you" in a louder than usual voice to make my point, but still got no response. Very very bad customer service and very very rude staff, I will not be returning to this branch again.

Went into this post office today to renew our passports, Linda was so helpful, friendly and chatty it made a change to be served by someone who goes the extra mile. It only took us 15min from start to finish for both of us to have pictures taken, old passports to be sent back, forms done & paid. Thank you.

I wish we had the excellent level of service there was at the old Wellington Road post office, instead we have a disappointing high street post office that's annoying most people who visit there. Hoping that the overall level of customer service will soon improve to everyone's satisfaction.

Dropped a parcel off at this branch and was very disappointed in how i was served. Rude and abrupt. No smile, no greeting acted like they couldn't give a toss about customers. Blonde lady

I have been in 5 times over the last 2 months. The first time I went in I would of given 4 stars. The women behind the counter was friendly and helpful and gave great advice. The other four times was the worst customer service I have ever had, anywhere. So I cannot give more than 1 star.

I went in asking for a specific pre-paid envelope and was sighed at. When it can to paying they clearly were not paying attention as they told me to come in and pay for it when I want to send the item. So I reiterated I need it to be pre-paid. This is where the women with short grey hair and the one with glasses and shoulder length hair berated me. Telling me I never asked for pre-paid (which I definitely did as I was reading it from my phones notes to make sure I asked for the right thing). They continued to be really hostile towards me with even the other customer next to me on the way out saying that they heard me ask for prepaid and that it was ridiculous how they just treated me.

The other three times I went in to get an international driving license and kept getting told to come back on x day because only one person in the office can do it. Okay fair enough, I mean that’s quite a poor way to do things having only one person able to do something. But each time I went back, including on the day they said was a “No we can’t do it today come back on this date”. The penultimate time I was very clearly told come back on a certain day as this specific person is in all day and it will definitely get done, nope it wasn’t. No apology whatsoever.

I gave up and went to Abergele post office instead. To my shock I asked for the international driving permit and they said yeah no problem right away. I was expecting to be in there for a good ten minutes to sort it out seeming how reluctant Rhyl post office was. But to my shock it took about 2 minutes and it was done!

Safe to say I have lodged a formal complaint via the post office website complaints area who said they will investigate the matter further. I hope they do because Rhyl post office cannot keep going this way!
