Kingfisher Day Nursery - Derby

Such a lovely little nursery, with a homely and comfortable feel about it. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly and there is always lovely activities set out for the children to interact with. My little one loves it at kingfisher and the staff have really helped him to settle in. Can't thank you all enough for putting this worried mummy's mind at rest and taking the best care of my son.

My experience at kingfisher day nursery was nothing but outstanding! All staff are fantastic and have genuine care for all of the children! I got brilliant feedback on my daughters day and she always came home happy and woke up excited to go back! My daughter currently uses the after school service they provide as she loves the ladies that care for her so much! Thank you for providing such a great service. Leaving my child is never easy but you guys make it so much easier!

Had such an outstanding experience here. The staff were all welcoming and warm. They made me feel reassured and at ease and are always professional and friendly. Couldn’t fault them at all, thank you for going above and beyond! You can see they really love their jobs and care for the children. Couldn’t recommend this nursery more!!

I love this nursery! It’s small and very friendly. The staff are lovely and know the children very well. They do some lovely activities and always let me know what my child has been doing during the day.

Went for a visit to the nursery and have a very concerning first impression.
There was no signs on the building indicating which is the entry door therefore I opened the main front door on the street side thinking there will be reception behind the door. It was not! door lead straight into nursery and there was a child right behind the door! I was explained that this door is not normally in use and should have been locked!
In the upstairs baby room, I was encouraged to put my child on the floor that I nearly did before I spotted a staple on the floor! handed it to the personnel.
Unlocked nursery door leading into children room and staples around babies in my opinion, are dangers that could have very serious outcomes.
Hoping this review leads to improvements.

This is a lovely nursery with a home to home feeling. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
The children seemed to be busy and happy. I would recommend this lovely nursery.

All the staff are very welcoming and always someone there to talk to my son gets upset when I leave him but I am confident that they staff help to settle him and he's always got a smile on his face when I pick him up. He has come on soon much since starting and nursery. Thank you

Would recommend if you are looking for quality childcare provided by experienced practitioners. Both of my children have attended Kingfisher and have had the best experience.
